they are too perfect to not be traced calix and even i can tell they are traced. i get what your saying. unsteady lines generally occur during tracing because the hand is in the way making it slightly hard to make the lines look neat or un messy hence the look of the cartoony horses you all so love. so yeah it's sort of obvious. i can tell a traced image from none traced yulynh's are freehand. equimagine's are traced I took an art class in college there is visible difference between tracing and free handing.

I think they are saying it is obvious all her lines are traced from what I get, not just the foal.

let me put an example of proof in traced lines you can always tell they are traced based on how rough and broken the lines are you will notice mistakes in them and no neatness what so ever on out lying lines. where as yulynh's are free hand of course i can tell they are not traced and took hours of work for her to do.

equi traced the horse lines from images she found on the on internet and they where used for this site she did not tell tess they where traced.

Could I have proof of this?

I'm not sure what to vote anymore. I love the old horse lines but at the same time that new draft looks adorable <3

I want the change,because I do not support traced work and I like the new lines as well, but we are all talking to brick walls now XD

those camparisons alone are enough to say they where traced all equimagine did was trace them and you can tell because the foals leg lines are very broken not straight but the position is the exact same. same with unicorn all she did was flip the image and make it look like unicorn.

Not to pull everyone completely away from their ranting and raving... But this project is doing a number for Equimagine demand. Everyone is trying to scarf up as many Equimagine pets as they can get before the change so they can trade them away after the change.
I think it's awesome. I personally will be collecting Equimagine designs after the change, whereas before I had to fight to get rid of the line art. The unicorns are difficult to find right now, much to my dismay. I still need six to complete my collection.

I have to say that I don't like the idea of having the older horses change from their original lineart. Having different lineart makes them special and I personally like the older lineart much more than what we have now. I'd be very sad to see the old horse lineart go. I'd be like replacing antique organs with an electric piano because it took up less space.
