Welcome to the Greathorned Dragon Adoption Center! Here, you can adopt the creatures known as Greathorned Dragons. Although it's quite a hassle typing the whole name, it's made much easier if you just call them GHD. Above you can see the GHD that need loving homes. Adopting them is very easy. Just fill out the form or do what the artists says to do and you just might be able to win it.

Well, Greathorned Dragons are dragon like creatures with horns, fur, and a long bushy tail. Their diet consists of small prey such as rodents, birds, and squirrels, but also plants such as berries. The adults are ridable, but only if trained. A special harness is required for the sport as these dragons also have the ability to levitate. The horns on the GHD head channels a special power that they have. Some control various elements, while others have abilities to to make themselves invisible. The horns can also glow when their power is activated. Sometimes they are just used to attract mates. Their fur feels like a cloud, fluffy and soft. It requires a lot of attention, making these dragons kind of high maintenance. The tail however, can turn as hard as metal at their will, making them a powerful opponent.

Greathorned Dragons have adapted to many types of different climates and regions. They were first found in the tundra, with much thicker coats than they have today. Overtime, they migrated and have adapted to pretty much all the climate types. Their fur sheds and grows fairly quickly making travel easier for them. Because of the large amount of migrating, their coats have also adapted so they blend in with their surroundings better. Because of this camouflage technique, the Greathorned Dragon's colors are in a wide variety. However, there will never be neon, or very bright colors.

Maybe they should be Element dragons or Element gaurdian dragons?
welcome to our cave of rock and stone,
this is where we call home,
the mist swirls as night draws in,
together as one, we are kin,

we will not give without a fight,
hide in the shadows, black as night,
every crack, every fold,
we are the tribe of forgotten worlds.

Thanks for the suggestion ^^ I've decided to name them Greathorned Dragon, based on the power of their horn c:

Sorry for the lack of adoptables! If there's still any interest, I'll be sure to make more!
