Well.
Everyone agrees there's an artistic integrity/art theft issue.
By voting no, while knowing about the artistic integrity issue, you don't see it as an issue worth fixing.
I'm not sure how I'm supposed to hash that to be full of fluffy rainbows and kittens, y'all. There's an issue, we're given a chance to vote on a fix, and some are voting against it while fully knowing the issue. I can only assume this means they think the issue is less important than their aesthetic choice.

I'm just not sure how everyone voting no is so okay with seeing the problem, recognizing it's there, and then deciding to not fix it, and then saying that people are being malicious or spiteful when pointing out the problem is still not fixed.
This is not to be mean, this is not to be catty at people who vote no. If you vote no, you're voting against changing this problem of artistic integrity. You can't get around it, you guys. Even if you voted purely because you like the older linearts better, you're still putting this question to the wayside to instead vote on what you think is prettiest. This does not mean that the problem goes away. It's still very much there, and you chose to vote against its fix.
ok this might be your opinion but can you try to make your messages sound a little less like your accusing the no voters for being ok with art theft, and people are not calling people spiteful for pointing things out, and you might not mean it to be but this might upset people who voted no, you really make your opinion sound like the right one, and the no voters bad people who dont mind art theft. people are not voting because they think things look nice, i suggest you read more comments people have made before making false claims about what they think, however this is your opinion and i dont have a problem with you thinking that, its just others take this the wrong way.
um. She put it VERY simply at the end of her post, her "accusations" are 100% true. There is a lot of art theft and unfairness revolving around equi's lines, it's been proven over and over, and if you're just ignoring that and still voting no on the change, you're basically putting your personal preference above fixing the art theft issue at hand. I don't see how this is so difficult to grasp. You vote no = you're not for changing the art theft. Plain and simple.

This. It seems rather rude and deliberately hurtful to go around telling people what they have to have been thinking and that they obvious have no moral standards because they're voting for what they were asked about. If the person is really trying to not be hurtful, maybe they should settle for having stated their opinion already and quit repeating themselves when they know they're hurting others?

Bashing someone because they have an opinion isn't right.
I agree. We should all state our opinion on the matter, vote and be off; we should be bashing each other, or making each other feel bad. We`er supposed to get along!

Equi, the old horse artist, either traced, or very much so referenced horse images to use as CS adoptables.
EDIT:-Wow.... i`ve been watching this thread for
423 pages, and nothing changed. No matter what the staff have said, we`re all still bashing each other and being jerks.

Equimagine's lines(the old ones, the ones we want to revamp) were traced from copyrighted photos. She didn't have permission, and she didn't credit the photos. If you need more help feel free to pm me ^^

Yes everyone does agree that there is an issue. I believe the problem is that most people who have been arguing upon the same thought process as you have been arguing this as an
all or nothing issue this is in no way the
only method of solving this issue.
By voting no (This is said without putting words in anyone's mouth) they are saying that
while they are now aware of the issue they don't believe this is the way to solve it ...or at least that's the vibe I've been getting from posts on this thread. :3 Many people vote no purely because they are against what is the main question of this thread -Do we want all the horses on this site to be under the same lines? and their honest answer is no. That doesn't necessarily mean they agree that the site should support art theft and that they themselves support art theft they just don't want this project and this method of solving the issue to go through

That's the thing, people only want these Equis 'because they look nice/realistic/cartoony/cool/etc.'
But, you can either have loads of new more detailed uncommon/rare/etc. pets still from 2009/10 or you can have an error image box with an x in it and nothing to trade with - if you vote no because of this, I think that's a bit unfair, if no wins the vote and a lawsuit is filed, where will we be then?
@OneDirecton<3 Equis lines were traced of pictures from shutter shock, that's art theft. X
