See, my vote still hasn't changed from No. Am I for art theft? Of course not. Do I think the lines should be removed because of the art theft? Yes. Was that what I was asked about for the poll? No, and that's why my vote isn't changing. Tess did the poll to ask if we wanted them all to look uniform, and I don't. If they're changed I want the equi horses to be in one of the line-art edits. At this point we all know they will be changed no matter what, so I'm actually voting for the question asked. (Which it's perfectly fine if people want to vote yes or no for other reasons, that's just not what I'm doing.)

This. IMO, I think there should be a whole new line drawn for the old horses and ponies, so they still are distinguishable from the newer ones. There should be a "running horse" line made for the old horses, and since what people like most about the older ponies (or from what I've seen, and what I like about them) a pony line similar to that of Equi's and with the mane over the eyes on the ones that have that and for the "newer" Equi ponies, no hair over the eyes. Since that would be an easy edit to make on the lines, longer hair, shorter hair, like the dogs have different ears and tails. My opinion.

I love all the horse lines as they are, ESPECIALLY the drafts. In fact I would not even be on CS if I hadn't seen a CS draft in someone's signature on another site and wondered where they got it from. The new draft design does not hold the same appeal, although I would love to see drafts released once in a while (and hold thumbs every Christmas that I will get some).

Also having recently mortgaged my soul (at least that is how it felt at the time! ) to acquire the Buckskin PPS, not because it was the Buckskin PPS and a list pet, but because of the adorable line art, I would feel very cheated if that line art was changed. While the new PPS ponies are cute, they just don't hold the same appeal.

That being said, while the updated ponies look good, you also lose something in the translation of the design, and in the fact that none of the horses or ponies will be "looking" at you anymore.

All they're going to do, for now, is focus on the adult ponies and horses. I believe that the PPS ones will be tended to later.

I think that Tess was planning on doing a seperate poll for a possible change the special and popular PPS would get new lines of their own anyway ^^ but don't quote me on this as I am not 100% sure..

Problem is even if this doesn't go through for the change to Yulynh's lines, the equimagine lines will still be changed because of all the anger over the art theft thing no? I mean, they couldn't keep them as they are, they would have to look into making all new lines for it or something rather than using Yulynh's already completed lines... I couldn't see anyway that they could keep the equimagine lines with all the hype about the theft thing.

Anyway just my opinion *shrugs and leaves again*
I just hope Tess gets around to closing this soon, the percentages havent changed in days and all this is doing is upsetting a lot of people and hurting feelings on both sides...

I think that if they did draw a whole new lineart of a running horse it would cut down a ton on the complaining. From what I have seen pretty much everyone (including myself) that has voted no on the change has voted that way simply because they don't want all the horses uniform and the same, and/or they don't like the Yulynh lines and never have. However if CS could come up with some new lines like you said I think that would be awsome, and may get a lot more people to vote yes, and people would probably accept the idea a lot better than they are currently.

EDIT: For those of you who keep saying the percentages have not changed in days, they actually have. Not much, but the vote on no yesterday was at 32% and it is now at 34%....

I don't know if could be done or not, but I like that idea.

To be honest, it IS justifying art theft. You're basically saying "I disagree with art theft but I like the stolen piece so it doesn't matter".

Guys, we've already been asked to stop with this pointless arguing. I'm not trying to mod or anything, just trying to reinforce what the mods have already asked of us. Actually, the poll is asking if you want the lines to be updated.
Even if you don't agree with uniformity reason, if you want the lines to change for the art theft reason, your vote should be yes.
I don't personally think the uniformity matters(besides the item reason). But I don't like art theft, so my answer is a firm yes.

We did read the first post, thank you very much. However I have seen the CS staff talking about a possible compromise for the lines since most people simply dont want everything to look the same. (When I say most people I am referring to most of the people who voted NO) They were saying that since this has quite obviously started an uproar on this thread it may be possible to find an inbetween.
