See, my vote still hasn't changed from No. Am I for art theft? Of course not. Do I think the lines should be removed because of the art theft? Yes. Was that what I was asked about for the poll? No, and that's why my vote isn't changing. Tess did the poll to ask if we wanted them all to look uniform, and I don't. If they're changed I want the equi horses to be in one of the line-art edits. At this point we all know they will be changed no matter what, so I'm actually voting for the question asked. (Which it's perfectly fine if people want to vote yes or no for other reasons, that's just not what I'm doing.)

At first I really liked those new draft lines but now I'm beginning to think no. The old version on the front has such a pretty big blue eye which you can barely see on the new line art. It's hard to imagine the rainbow drafts or those easter draft horses with the bunny ears looking good in those lines. They work for the more natural designs but I don't know they would just look... Wrong for the others.

I hope this convinces you otherwise.

I must say, this convinces me even more that the Draft change is a big no from me.

I love all the horse lines as they are, ESPECIALLY the drafts. In fact I would not even be on CS if I hadn't seen a CS draft in someone's signature on another site and wondered where they got it from. The new draft design does not hold the same appeal, although I would love to see drafts released once in a while (and hold thumbs every Christmas that I will get some).

Also having recently mortgaged my soul (at least that is how it felt at the time! ) to acquire the Buckskin PPS, not because it was the Buckskin PPS and a list pet, but because of the adorable line art, I would feel very cheated if that line art was changed. While the new PPS ponies are cute, they just don't hold the same appeal.

That being said, while the updated ponies look good, you also lose something in the translation of the design, and in the fact that none of the horses or ponies will be "looking" at you anymore.

I think everyone trying to "attack" others for their opinion needs o step back a moment harassment is a big rule on here like the art theft that you defend

.. I find it a weeny bit hard not to take this as a sort of rebuke aimed at me.. For I do sound like Ive been defending art theft. -3- But really, after all the proof being showed on here, I have almost no problem with the change.. Note the almost. ( That's why my siggy is still against this)

The wee c**** that is still keeping me from voting yes is pretty much how I would miss these lines. Tbh, I hyperventilated when I saw them as a newbie. I really love them... Any sort of archive or something would take care of that, I'm sure. -3- But so far I have no idea wether the lines will just be deleted or will they still exist. Until then, I'm afraid my vote is still no. :I

Like I said to a few people- by all means, save your favorite horses to your computer, make a little folder for them or something. There's no way they're going to be gone 100%- there are so many graphics, avatars, banners, etc with Equi horses in them. So it's not like you'll never see the lineart ever again ^^

I'm probably sounding like a broken record at this point,
but really, this is a fantastic option. You may still have your pets, but were also helping CS as a whole become more consistent with its rules.

I agree, the whole bunny outfit thing on the draft was meant to be cute, on the new draft lines it just looks like the horse is rather ticked off to be wearing it.

All they're going to do, for now, is focus on the adult ponies and horses. I believe that the PPS ones will be tended to later.

Regardless, the Buckskin PPS would not be the same at all with the new line art, what is so cool about it is the line art it has now, and the new draft just doesn't cut it, it is missing soul!
