He nodded and watched her go, he walked around the camp. He was checking around to make sure all was good like a real warrior does. He spotted tigerclaw's dark fur, he was behind them. He slowly crept up to them, once he was close enough he pounced on the big warrior "haha got you tigerclaw!" The little gray kit spat with an excited voice.

Ferret mewed in protest as Stonekit bounded away. "Oh well..." she muttered to herself. "I guess I'm alone in a whole clearing full of strangers minus 4."

Gooseheart looked up from where he was sunning himself. " You, cat! Come over here." He rasped out to Ferret.

The ginger tom bounded hurriedly up to his mentor, tail held high. "Mintsplash! Hello! I was just looking for you." he meowed, now standing as tall as his mentor. His deep amber gaze held no fear any more and his movments were not jumpy and unsure. He was the vision of confidence. He had Mintsplash and Skypaw to think for that. Loudpaw brushed his shoulder agianst hers as they met, a livly spark lighting his eyes and face.

Mintsplash nods and stares at her apprentice for a few seconds, her eyes wandering up and down his body. Her mind runs through considerations and thoughts, and she tilts her head. "Loudpaw, I think it's about time you did your assessment." He more than deserved it."This is unfamiliar territory as well, so perhaps you will discover something or place that could come in good use in the future. You do know everything an apprentice needs to know."

His eyes lit up. He was going to have his assessment! He suppresed a small bouce of joy that threatened to ruin the moment. "R-really? Today?" he breathed, excitement lacing his words. He ruffled his chest fur and stood taller and more proud, his glossy ginger coat giving off a firey sheen.

Petalfall blinked, honestly a bit startled by his question as she looked up at him with a soft sigh as she lowered her gaze. "I had a family, my mother and father, two great warriors. My mother was acutally in the nursery waiting to kit her second litter. I had two little brothers, Hawkswoop and Tigerclaw. Tigerclaw and Hawkswoop fought to become the best warriors in the clan, but Hawkswoop was lost in the fire, just like our parents but Tigerclaw and I made it out." SHe said looking down.

Swiftcreek's ears paste to his skull in grief. He himself had lost kin and those whom he had loved. The dark-furred tom gently touches his tail tip to Petalfall's shoulder in sympathy. "I'm sure they are all proud to watch you and Tigerclaw from StarClan." he meows. He gazes up at the sky, and silently prays that they truly do watch over this she-cat and her brother, after everything that had happened.

He smiled "correct mistypaw, well done" he purred with a great since of pride in his apprentice.

Mistypaw purred back to her mentor,"Thanks."

Songpaw sighed as she blindly looked around camp. She turned around and jumped onto a tree that had lots of weak branches.

Mintsplash nods ecstatically. The same excitement buzzed inside of her, and her paws tingled from it. "Yes, today. You're ready to become a warrior now, and you deserve to become a warrior." she states, determined to control herself.

Petalfall managed her usual soft smile as she nosed the tom's ear in thanks, "Might I ask about you?" She began to ask but regretted it, not wanting to upset or bring back painful memories for the tom.

Loudpaw couldn't help it now. His chest had swelled out and his ears pirked. He looked brave, like a warrior who'd just come back from battle, the only thing missing were the wounds bound to come with that. "When? I-I wanna get started right away." he meowed, ready to get started.
