Whitesky

Warrior

Whitesky did not currently have an apprentice, which seemed to be the main focus of the day. He had also not been assigned to any patrols. These two points together told him that he was not currently needed. Since Whitesky was not needed, he was free to do as he wished. Knowing Whitesky, that meant relaxing.
He was laying in a shady corner of camp, away from anything that might disturb him. Other than the tip of his tail, which twitched rhythmically, seemingly independently from his will, Whitesky was still.
He would have gone to the warriors' den, but that would likely be seen as blatantly rude. Instead, he was out in the open where Reedstar could give him a task, if he so chose. However, Reedstar was busy, so that ensured that Whitesky would get at least a good several minutes to himself.
Ryejaw
18 Moons
Elder
Single
Today was a lazy sort of day, as far as Ryejaw could tell. It lacked any urgency or bustle. This was just one of those days where one sort of muddles through their chores and that's about it. Ryejaw was aware that the new deputy had not been named yet, and that was the only interesting part of the day.
It would be easy for her to sit back and let Streamclan take care of her, and today almost made her feel like doing just that, but Ryejaw refused to let herself become a parasite. That was why she sat in the entrance of the elder's den and watched the dull happenings of camp with an alert expression. She watched for openings, tasks or activities to keep herself busy.
Nightshade

In order to keep himself busy and make himself look as useful to Streamclan as possible, Nightshade stalked out of camp purposefully with the intent of hunting. Of course, he was hungry too, but that was an obvious reason and went without saying.
Once Nightshade has left camp, he noticed Cloverheart disappearing into the woods. Perhaps he had the same idea Nightshade had. Naturally, that made Nightshade curious if it might be for the same reasons as well. Was it possible that Cloverheart could be competition for the deputy position? It would likely be some time before the position opened up again, and Nightshade was not as young as he once was. This may well be his last chance, and that knowledge made him feel desperate. However, he had to be careful not to let those emotions show. He needed to appear strong and confident if he were to stand a chance of being chosen.
