I do like the idea of refreshing old horse designs, but I feel kind of bad that Equimagine would get fazed out. She may not be doing art here anymore, but she did put work into all those past designs. I saw some people asking about letting users switch between the linearts on their adopts at will, but I can see how that can get messy. What about having a kind of "old lineart" archive or something, just so past work isn't completely gone from the site?

Survira, They're expressing their opinion and you're being rude. It doesn't matter what side you're on. Use your manners. Keep that in mind.

Speaking as someone who's been here almost since the beginning of the site, I don't think history is in itself a reason to keep these lines around. We've had line changes before, twice with Malk's pets and once with equi's lines. While they are a part of the site and have been for quite some time, I see no problem with changing the lines- especially considering Equi's lines have been changed once already. They were also retired and "replaced" by Yulynh's adoptables.
Keeping old lines, some of which were traced, is not necessarily in the best interest of CS.

That's been suggested many times - there would probably be at least a user-made archive for those lines somewhere so people could still see their favourites in the old lines. :3

CS's history is tainted. This change would be for the greater good. No skeletons left in the closet, so to speak. It would rid CS of this embarrassment and could possibly save the site.

look the pic were not copy righted they can not do any thing to chicken smoothie and yes as you say their would be "skeletons left in the closet"

Everybody seems to love the new draft lines...
but...
I hate them. They look reeeaaallly weird to me, the legs...and the length of the body and...it just looks freakish to me in a way.
Don't mean to be rude.

It's one of the example horses that Sorren made - she posted it in the thread in response to someone who was concerned about how that particular horse would look in the new lines. :3

Oh my god, that makes me actually want one.
Hopefully this is the case for a few of the designs once they get switched over, because I don't have a single equimagine horse in my 'keep' group under horses.

I need to trade for one of these right now so I have it when the switch happens x.x

And I say when it happens because of where the poll is at right now and because cs could face legal trouble if the owners of the pictures equimagine traced her lineart from decided to press charges.

Why would you put it in those words?
They're not being tossed out like garbage.
If you failed to notice, you're posting in a thread with hundreds of pages about a poll with thousands of votes.
This is being carefully considered, they are not in any way being tossed out like garbage.

Alright, well I'll probably put my vote into "yes" then. I think a change this big (including new Draft, Donkey, and Unicorn linearts) is just what horses need to make them more popular again.
