I completely disagree with this, actually.
When Equimagine quit, the rights to her designs were signed over to Tess.
She has no right to have her name on the new versions.

I do understand this and I'd be happy with just transferring the designs and leaving it at that. I'm simply trying to find a middle ground so everyone can stop bickering. I personally wouldn't want to honor someone that condones and takes part in art theft. If her name is erased, that's fine with me. If it needs to be placed on the recolored horses just to get the stolen art out of here, I'll tolerate it.

I think it'd look too messy having both tags but it wouldn't be the end of the world.
Really hope they just keep Yulyhn's tag though.

I vote no! I LOVE the older horses better than the newer ones actually and I would hate to see them changed. I would be very sad. I hope that you guys don't change them because they are so cool and lovely.

Im sure Tess was upset when those couple of users completly traced her lineart in oekaki - and i've caugh a couple people trying to re-use CS (mainly Tess's) linearts on DA. :u this really should just be resolved and not debated. Debating is just causing tears - people to quit over "the insanity", and loads of harassment. I've seen atleast five users saying how people took it to themselves to put their minds on a couple users through PM. .-. Then there wont be bickering - and there wont be people at eachothers throats. Just get it done and over with instead of flying feelings. Im sure its putting the mods at double work making sure the "fur isn't flying" to make sure no one is breaking the rules during all of this madness. :T I honestly just give up trying to stay on a side. >.> Because if I ended giving in my two cents - people will just bicker back "Buuuuut I like the ponies!" ._. I seriously wish this thread had never been posted - the ARTISTS and ADMINS should choose what to do seeing as they would be the ones most affected by it. Ok so you guys love a design or how the pony/horse is made. Are you saying you hate the ponies and Horses we have now? Well jeeze I hope not. Most people like them for their design - if Equimagine had never created the horses - or Yul' had made the designs no one would have known or cared for a difference. If you love horses or the design what does it matter what the lineart looks like - they'll still be master pieces. They'll still be the pets you loved - just theres not any chance this way that they go bye bye because of copyright and because of the fact im sure there is one PO'd photographer out there. Or two or three or however many. I really think this thread should be locked - arguments ended - and the site administrators and artists figure this out, That way there wont be hundreds of people/members bickering back and forth and no one will hate people because they beg to differ on your opinion. I am not looking forward to the changes. My first pet a few years back was an Equimagine horse and I would be very disappointed if he was changed. At least I think my first pet was a horse. either way, I'm extremely disappointed.

See I didn't know she signed over her designs to Tess - the I fully support her name not being on there, I thought the designs where still hers. :\
now. im done arguing and pitching in - im going to bunker down in the Oekaki board till everything smooths over.
