odin- Honestly, chances are that they will get more demand, at least temporarily. New things always do. Just look at when the store pets come out every two months, compared to a few weeks after they've been out.
Also, I'd say the biggest reason isn't the items, but the theft.

I think the theft is part of it, but I think they would have changed it before if that was the problem. I think they are just giving us chance to choose what we want.

also, I know this has been answered before, but I didn't see the answer. Will the Zebras have new lines? Or the pony lines?

From the front page it sounds like they will get their own lines but we cannot be sure until Tess confirms it.

I would. it softens the blow and lets users feel more in control- or, in an extreme case, like they can't blame administration for their horses being changed because they let us decide. It would be the logical decision.

The opinion that they should remain even though they're stolen offends some people on a deep and personal level. Don't take it so hard.

Why do people keep assuming that the results of the poll don't actually matter and that the project is going to be done regardless?

No, but do you know how many times I've read that they might get more demand? More times than I care to count.
I'm fully aware it's a "consistency" issue. And because items don't fit old ones or something trivial like that. I like the old lines more. I have said it more than once. Having all of them be exactly the same would be boring. I've said that more than once. I don't like the new lines. I've said that more than once. But somehow, I see people say they might get more demand or something. No they won't. Horses don't have demand. Never have, never will.

Well, I can't speak for how much demand the horses will have overall throughout the entire population on CS, but I know I myself would LOVE to start collecting the older horses if they get on the updated lineart. The old lineart was the only reason I wasn't collecting them - I didn't like them.

True, horses will never have as much demand as dogs, but for one person here on CS they'll have more demand. And I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels the same way as I do. Maybe horses will never have high demand like dogs... But for people like me, they'll at least have more demand. C;

Fifty percent isn't the majority?
In any case, 34 percent SURE isn't a majority. Where are we counting maybes? Because it says "doesn't care." Which means, no problem with changing. Those should by all accounts be counted towards 'yes.'
