What would the donkeys look like? I love them and have a huge hoard so my decision will be based on them.

I think that the new horses will give the lower quality ones a better outlook.

Did you read what I quoted? They said there were horse designs that were plain, I was stating there are VERY plain dogs, yet those are really popular.

Really? Releasing a black horse with a red dot in the middle? A white horse with a pink mane? That's not even a design, it's just giving something a coat color and a mane/tail color.

That is an invalid argument because there are plenty of other pets that are just one solid color. Just because it's a horse doesn't mean it's an awful design.

In my opinion, it is. So little effort put into it.

No, it's not. When it's official the poll will be closed and an announcement will likely be made. People are just assuming it will happen.

Bu they are just that, Dogs, the most popular pet on this site, they are also hard to get older dogs. Horses, most people get rid of them, they aren't hard to find because demand sucks. You can't compare dogs and horses, it doesn't work. Dogs are the main thing on this site, everything else is a bonus, and horses, like rats, are only cherished by a few.

Exactly, horses have no demand. No horse has demand. Not old lines, not new lines. I will say this, though, I get way more trades for older horses than I do for the new lines. No one ever offers on any new line horse or pony I have. I really don't like the argument that changing the lines will magically give all the horses super demand. Because it won't. The demand will stay the same. Because horses are not as popular as dogs. And never will be, even if they get switched. So why switch? All you are doing is making more work for the artists when they could be out making you guys super new dogs!

I don't think you even read the front page, or any of our replies, fully. The point of this is not to increase horse demand.

No, but do you know how many times I've read that they might get more demand? More times than I care to count.
I'm fully aware it's a "consistency" issue. And because items don't fit old ones or something trivial like that. I like the old lines more. I have said it more than once. Having all of them be exactly the same would be boring. I've said that more than once. I don't like the new lines. I've said that more than once. But somehow, I see people say they might get more demand or something. No they won't. Horses don't have demand. Never have, never will.

And the exact same thing could be said about many other pets on here... "so little effort put in." Should all those get changed, too? Just because you think that they didn't have effort put into their design?

I think that the donkey and the unicorn lines are still WIP <3 I am sure that Tess will let us know when they get put up

While we do have edited pony lines to use for donkeys, I'm not 100% sure if we'll be using those. Otherwise the other lines are still WIPs.

odin- Honestly, chances are that they will get more demand, at least temporarily. New things always do. Just look at when the store pets come out every two months, compared to a few weeks after they've been out.
Also, I'd say the biggest reason isn't the items, but the theft.

If that was the reason, I don't think they'd ask us, they would just change them.

Regardless of opinion, solid-color is a design. Do you have to like it? No, you can despise it, but that doesn't make it any less of a design than anything else. Besides, you may think it's awful, but shouldn't others be able to think otherwise if they chose to?

I'm for the ETP, but it's not very respectful to assume that your opinion is going to win, confident or not.
