Seriously, the anti transformation people on here are overeacting. It's just a pet, not the end of the world. Geez. You'll just have to accept that you can't always get what you want.
Lets see
your favorite pet get changed and see how
you feel about it.

And also, saying that they will be much better quality kind of comes across to me as you think the old ones are crappy.
No, not crappy, just glad for the change. I have seen other pictures/photos that some of the horses and ponies have come from as well as other pets on here. I began wondering why this site would allow such plagiarism to continue. I am glad for the change and am not sorry to see most of the old equine line-art go. At least, with Yulyhn's line-art and Tess's (can't forget Nick's originality), we know it's not copied from others.

Well I'm not sure what to tell you then, sorry. The chances of any of us knowing is pretty slim. The only other place I can think to check is SkinlessChicken.
Ahh that's understandable, sorry about that xD;
Not sure what skinless chicken is but I'll look it up later once I have access to a computer (if I remember); if its offsite though then my point about not going offsite to find answers still stands xD
Was your pet adopted December 18, any year, or December 24, 2011? It is most likely an older pet! CLICK ME to identify your pet!
Spread the word to end the word, because discrimination based on perceived or actual IQ/"intelligence" is no better than discrimination based on race, gender, etc.

So when are they going to change the lines officially? I hope soon.

We aren't talking about dogs here, dude.
Did you read what I quoted? They said there were horse designs that were plain, I was stating there are VERY plain dogs, yet those are really popular.
Onew~ wrote:Really? Releasing a black horse with a red dot in the middle? A white horse with a pink mane? That's not even a design, it's just giving something a coat color and a mane/tail color.
That is an invalid argument because there are plenty of other pets that are just one solid color. Just because it's a horse doesn't mean it's an awful design.
Vincent Van Gogh. Everyone said to him, "You can't be a great painter, you only have one ear." And you know what he said? "I can't hear you."
Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

It's not necessarily a valid point though =P Let's say that 10 users emailed a photographer about this issue. with 280385 members that gives you a 3.6% chance of finding them amidst all the members. If you factor in the fact that you're asking the question on a thread where it's only borderline relevant your chances go down even further. If, however, you ask off-site where you can immediately pop up on the news feed of everyone who searches the chickensmoothie hashtag (in a tumblr example) you have much greater chances of them seeing and responding to the question.

Except that Onew gave those examples in response to what the other user said, who was implying all of the designs were super good, or something along those lines. I'm sure if the user implied that about dogs, those two dogs would be given as an example.
Their point wasn't that horses are the only ones with uncreative designs; it was that not all the horses are super good/creative.
I don't think there's anyone on the site who thinks the BA and white feb are super creative designs.
Either way; this is about the horses. Not dogs.

Exactly, horses have no demand. No horse has demand. Not old lines, not new lines. I will say this, though, I get way more trades for older horses than I do for the new lines. No one ever offers on any new line horse or pony I have. I really don't like the argument that changing the lines will magically give all the horses super demand. Because it won't. The demand will stay the same. Because horses are not as popular as dogs. And never will be, even if they get switched. So why switch? All you are doing is making more work for the artists when they could be out making you guys super new dogs!

Seems to me that the outspoken tumblr community (particularly CS) are mostly on this topic though o.O (not a bad thing to be outspoken) I dunno why they would avoid this topic on CS when they're apparently so willing to discuss it offsite; I've seen several tumblr users in this very topic debating politely (thankfully) but I fear that if I PM them then I'll be viewed as targeting them specifically for PMing them D:

I don't think you even read the front page, or any of our replies, fully.
The point of this is not to increase horse demand.
