I don't understand why the site itself is being blamed for Equimagine's actions, though? She was hired for the artist role and I feel as if the staff may have been a little blind sided when inviting her to the team. What a member or staff does is their own doing, though it's making everyone else look bad...

You must understand how hard it is to run a site? You cant change things on an instant. YES it takes time...
At least they are getting to it.

Please read what i wrote at the top^^ if we need to take down the old lines due to the photographers demands then let us do so but if not then lets have options.... I am just sitting here imagining the two Equimagine horses in either Yulynh's stock horse lineart or her Arabian lineart, myself.

I get the feeling the poll will probably be up for at least a day or two longer. It's only been two days and they probably want as many people to get the opportunity to vote as possible.

But, yeah, would be nice to just know one way or the other. That way I can start sifting through the Archives looking for equi horses with cool designs to potentially add to my wishlist if it's decided to change everything over to Yul's style. Equi's style has just always seemed a bit...derpy, I guess, so I'd love to have some of the retouched designs on Yul's lines, like the bird-litter and others.

I don't believe she means the regular members when she says CS. I believe she means the staff.

While the site itself is not directly responsible for the stolen work and Tess couldn't be expected to know right away, having traced adoptables reflects poorly on the site as a whole. It gives the impression that CS actually condones art theft, when its rules say otherwise.
Also, many people thought that the tracing was handled poorly. Equi did lose her position and the lines were retired, but up until now any discussion of it was quickly swept under the rug and deleted.
Equi made a poor descision that, in turn, cast the site in a bad light.

Please refrain from calling me out on my behavior if you're only going to using snippy condescending remarks to refer to me. It makes you look no better and annoys everyone involved when you call anyone "Hun" "dearie" 'sweetie" "doll' etc.

I did. Whether or not they agree is irrelevent. The art is stolen. Should CS continue to use it that sends out the message that it's okay to steal art- or that staff is allowed special permissions. I have no reason to claim such, because when I was younger I did foolish things as well. My age, however, does not excuse me for taking ownership of my actions, apologzing, and making right what I did wrong.
