Can we stop arguing and try to come up with a compromise? Yes it's stolen. It's a crime. Yes. Equine has quit two years ago. Just come up with a compromise to show to Tess, so there is no fuss about yes or no.


Some ideas:
Keeping the body and head of the current LA but making a different tail and main, maybe position.
The button idea
Just going for a change and having the original designs set in their own archive.
I take no credit for any ideas posted. These were ideas posted pages back.

Come on, guys, stop arguing and try and offer up some ideas! Telling eachother how wrong they are isn't all that useful, and the intent of this thread was never to be hateful to eachother.

Adding to the list:
- using the yulynh lines but with edits unique to the equi lines
- new lines with a different pose
- Nick(!)

Although bringing up the tracing topic is like beating a dead horse by now (Pun intended) I will say that Tess should remove the Equimagine lines regardless of the outcome. It would be a perfect opportunity to lead by example. I believe people will take art theft more seriously if a former staff member is made an example of. Something so drastic would definitely make an impact on those that take part in art theft or those that may consider taking part in it.

I believe that, no matter what happens, very few people will leave CS should things change. It's pretty addicting. Initially, that was my main concern. "How many people are going to quit because of this?"

I feel that, should the project be accepted, two things should happen.
1) Both Yulynh and Equimagines names should be tagged on the re-colored horses.
2.) The re-colors should have some quirk in their design that denotes them as former Equimagine horses and gives them that dash of uniqueness.

If this doesn't make everyone happy, nothing is going to.

I'm all for this idea. ^^ I didn't really have a particular interest in Equimagine's horses and I feel like this would also really raise demand. Users will be crawling to get their hands on the new drafts and the Equi's I have won't be sitting in my trade fodder anymore ^^
Also, will the new drafts fit the horse items? They look a bit large and if one of the main reasons for this is so that the items fit, I just don't think they will. However, I do love the new drafts. ^^

If this does go through, I wonder if it would be possible for like, in the archive there be a way to see equimagine's design behind the redone one? That way it still honours the time that she put into making the designs on the horses she did but gets rid of the issue of the traced lines being used?? Kinda like it is on the front page here, with equimagine's design faded slightly behind the new one? Not sure if that would be a ton of work though?

I like that idea Resin, that both equimagine's name and Yulynh's names get put onto the redesigned ones!
