Lucas looked at Maria. "Baby, please try to sleep."

Mya nodded, and handed her back.

Maria sighed, and covered her face. "I'll try."

Lucas got up and moved the couch so it was by her bed. He then reached his arm up and grabbed her hand. "Come on babe. Go to sleep."

Mason held Trinity close to him.

Maria laid in her bed, holding his hand. "Why does he have such a problem with it?" she asked.

"Because you're his baby girl." Lucas said. "And I'd act the same way with Trinity. He's just trying to protect you. I respect that."

Maria sighed, and nodded. "I know," she said. "But he's gonna have to let me grow up sometime."

"He's not ready yet." Lucas said.

Mason rocked Trinity, smiling.

"I can see why he worries...have you seen how gorgeous you are?" Lucas asked. "If he stops worrying, boys will be everywhere. You're lucky he let his guard down with me."
