Well, being the stubborn person I am, I'll just give away all my horses for free to those who'd enjoy the change. And not get anymore. It's no biggy to me anyhow. Just pixel pets.

If you love the equimagine linearts, keep in mind they'll be archived somewhere that's not officially part of the site.

You may find yourself pleasantly surprised by how much you like the new change, too!

Myself, I'm looking forward to the opportunity to use lineart untainted by any hint of scandal. And before this gets ground into the dirt again: Equimagine herself admitted some degree of wrongdoing. Also, it's pretty hard to do this by coincidence:

This is rediculous! This image has been posted on like every other page, I think just about everyone on CS know that they are traced already, can we just stop bringing it up over and over again? EVERYONE knows already. It is like some people just want to have a reason to bash equimagine everything.

A lot of people have already expressed that they were not aware of this issue before this thread existed (as any attempt to bring the matter up was quickly silenced in order to protect equi--although in hindsight I really wish the mods had been forthright about the issue from the start).

Given the sheer amount of users who don't even take the time to read the original post before they comment, I think it's probably a good thing that this is brought up every page.

Query though: People have been saying for dozens of pages we need to get 75 percent yes on the poll but, I never actually saw Tess say that. Did she?

On the topic of whether or not the lines will be changed regardless of the poll; probably? I can't imagine a site that has it explicitly stated in a dozen places tracing = bad allowing traced work officially, or even not going through with it after having put so much work into it already. This is just a nicer way for us to feel more in control over the situation, that it's not tess doing it to us, we did it to ourselves. So when it goes through rather tahn users be upset wildly at staff, they only have themselves to blame for not gathering enough support for the poll. Even though it will probably go through anyway.

This way people get forewarning and can express their opinions, concerns and suggestions, which means we can hopefully adjust things to have the majority at least content with the proposed changes, instead of just going "This is happening - deal with it". If the vast majority was very against it, there would probably be other solutions looked at that would make people happier instead of charging ahead regardless.

Tess never said what exact percentage she was looking for, as far as I know - 75% is just a number people think is likely. :3

I vote yes because I really love the new horses, and as long as the items are updated, too, I can accept the changes to some of my favs.

I do not agree on changing the old horses. I like the old horses and ponies better than the new ones. I have a draft horse and I don't want it changed and no offense but I think the new draft design is sort of ulgy and i don't want my draft horse looking like the new version.

I think what that person meant is that even though there is a majority that wants the new lines, there is still almost 1,000 people that don't. And that is a lot of people. They did not mean that more people wanted no change or anything like that, please try to see their view before posting stuff like that as it seems a little rude.

One thing I really cannot stand on this thread is all the people who voted yes and keep bragging about how the majority wants change, I am really getting sick of it guys. There is no need to keep rubbing it in our faces and saying stuff over and over again about how the majority is voting for the changes. I myself am quite attatched to the equimagine linearts and it actually is making me cry to think about all these rude people that just keep bashing it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but seriously, don't keep kicking dirt in our faces, okay?

We already know that Tess will go with the majority so there is really no need to keep repeating it to us over and over again as if we know nothing because to me it really does come across that way. I never thought that I would get my feelings so hurt over a lineart but I am finding that I am because of all the rude comments and all the people who voted yes and seem to think they are much better and higher than all of us who voted no because they are winning.

I am not trying to be rude in saying any of this but I realize that sometimes what I post comes across as extremely rude even when in my head I am saying it quite differently so please do not read all of this the wrong way<3

You may feel that way, but I have 6 rainbow drafts (different ones.) and I think they would look great in the new lineart.

Sometimes you have to think more of it as a whole though. Just because you like some pets in the old lineart, think of the site, and all of the pros of the change.

If we get the change we get:

> New Zebra lines
> New unicorn lines
> New draft lines
> Unique lines for the Buckskin pps, dice pps, and rainbow mane (possibly)
> New donkey lines
> No more traced or "fishy" lines which ruins the reputation of CS and leaves a bad taste in the majority of member's mouths
> Old designs "Upgraded" so to speak - just look at the tsunami pony. Don't get me wrong, Equi's are beautiful too, but there's no denying that the new pony executes the design much more beautifully.
> All horses/other equines can be dressed properly
> More uniformity in groups while still having some uniqueness due to line edits, pps's, donkies, drafts, etc.

Let me know if I missed any - but those all seem like pluses to me.

And on the rainbow drafts- they've had literally one of the worst demands for as long as I can remember. Everyone always complained about them being offered; no one wanted them (and by no one I mean the majority of people). I think they'll look much cuter and more demand-worthy with the update, personally.
