The young prince frowned as Arabella entered the dining hall, ignoring her look as she remarked about the seating arrangement. This was the traditional seating placement when two kingdoms united, it was just.. unusual. His frown deepened when Serena excused herself and his younger sister. No doubt running off to discuss their latest adventures of the day. He tapped his fingers against his leg, getting a bit impatient for the rest of the royals to show up. The curious stares from the lords and ladies of the court was unnerving. He suddenly wished Aiden was here, sitting beside him. And it was rather curious that Nick hadn't shown up yet.

Kaleb's brow furrowed at the sound of Serena sobbing. Suddenly all the sounds she made amplified in his ears, until she was the only thing his brain could register. What had he done? Regret pounded relentlessly in his mind, but he knew he couldn't back out. It'd show how weak he was, and Serena might not think him so great and fantastic. He looked up as the two princess sisters excused themselves, watching Serena back out of the room.

Cassia stepped away from the entrance of the church, turning back to her dear friend. Her sad face crinkled into a slow smile, her hands clasping Sparrow's in a tight grip. "Thank you, Sparrow. I knew I could count on you." She leaned forward and pecked her friend on the cheek, her eyes dancing with excitement. "I'll have to introduce you to everyone, but for now let's go by that tavern you should have passed on the way here. I know the keeper very well."

"You see things that make you happy, past and present," she smiled warmly. "What I was told was, even when you're in your darkest moment, think of the things that make you happy, or what I had seen, and they'll pull you up out of your darkness and back into the light. Trust me, it helps." She smiled and stood slowly. "We should probably go back in now, Tristan will be having a fit," she said looking at the door as a sadness filled her eyes.

The only problem is that the person who makes me happy also makes me sad. Serena thought. The eldest princess stood up with a small nod. "Don't worry about him." she said softly as she dried her eyes and walked back towards the diningroom with Arabella, giving a quick bow to the Kings and Queens before she walked back to her seat and sat down. It was obvious she had been crying, but Serena didnt care about that.

Arabella followed her sister, bowed deeply to Avalon's king and queen, stiffly to her own parents and took her seat beside her sister. She sent a look to her parents that expressed many emotions. I don't want to be here. Neither does Serena and I'm sure Tristan agrees for once, she thought. "Blasted traditions," she muttered under her breath. She looked around the room once more, her gaze icy. I'm here for Serena and Nick, she reminded herself.

Tristan raised his eyebrows as the princesses filed back into the dining hall, curtsying and taking their seats. He turned to Serena once they were seated, his frown growing lighter. "What was that all about? And will you please ask Arabella to stop shooting such furious looks at me. I feel like I murdered her favorite pet kitten or something." he whispered, keeping his eyes on the intricately embroidered seat of his chair.

Serena looked down at her hands as she heard Tristan speak to her. She remained silent for a moment, searching for the right words. "I just had to talk to somebody." she replied quietly, looking at Tristan for a moment. "And if you want to know where it was about. It was about the fact I'm probably unwanted by KC." she replied, soft though her tone was harsh.

"Maybe you did," she shot at Tristan think of her brown cat that slept in her chamber with her at nights. She turned and looked back at her sister. Don't tell him Serena, she thought. He won't care at all. Just like he never cared about how I felt about anything.

Sparrow's mouth fell open into a slight "o" shape when she heard that there would be others. "The others?" she said hesitantly, but she did her best to banish her worries. She didn't usually play well with others, but she was willing to work on that in order to help the person who had done so much for her over the years. Without pursuing the subject further, she nodded at Cassia's suggestion. "I think I remember it," she said. Then, her face broke into a grin. It had been years since she had last seen Cassia, and she realized that this fact meant that Cassia hadn't had the opportunity to meet her new friend, her loyal companion Hawk. "You haven't met the latest edition to my little band of misfits," she said with a feral sort of grin, slipping out of the chapel doors. Sure enough, Hawk was waiting just outside of the doors for her, jumping up at the sight of her. "There's a good boy, Hawk," she said, crouching down and cupping Hawk's face in her hands before straightening up and looking back at Cassia. "Where is this tavern?"

Lucifen || Avalon || Eldest Princess's Maid
Lucifen saddled the mare, patting her neck reassuringly. "No, I'm fine." She called back out to Ethan, who was sitting on a very fine looking horse. Lucifen sighed mentally, and finished up tacking the horse. I do wish I could afford to purchase a horse of my own. She thought mournfully. Shaking the thoughts from her head, she mounted the mare, carefully guiding her out of the stable doors and up to where Ethan was. The mare snorted at the sight of Aero, tossing her head about and fidgeting. Lucifen smiled, and patted the horses neck, "Calm down girl." She whispered in her ear. Lucifen looked up at Ethan, eager to go, "Are you ready?"

When Lucifen came out of the stables on the black mare, Areo became restless, striding up to the mare and smelling her hesitantly. Ethan's horse snorted, shaking his head once or twice and stomping his hooves. "Well it looks like Areo fancies your girl," he said, stroking his horse to calm him. "And I'm ready when you are," he added. Areo apparently knew what he meant, because with a toss of his mane he took a few steps back and took off down the trail that they went down almost every day. "Areo, slow down," Ethan said with a laugh. He glanced over at Lucifen apologetically. "Sorry about him. He tends to get a little overexcited." He grinned at her. He still found it rather difficult to believe that he had never met Lucy before in the castle. They just must have never have crossed paths before. I'm sure I would remember someone like her, he thought.

Lucifen laughed, a smile lighting up her face. She spurred her horse onwards, and they slowly began to trot over to where Aero and Ethan were. "It's fine," Lucifen said once they neared the two, "I was thinking we could go out over there." She said, pointing out to the rolling green hills of the countryside. A few houses were dotted along it, for those were the people who weren't really suited to the city life of Avalon and much preferred its nature. Lucifen looked over at Ethan, hoping he was okay with her decision.

Azure followed the royals of his kingdom down the halls of the Avalon palace. He watched everyone they passed xcanning for any who might be a threat

Crystal/ Elaydon/ Maid
Crystal walked out of the palace. Elaydon was a big place after all, Princess Arabella wouldn't miss her for too long. She got onto her horse and rode towards Avalon, with a shoal over her head, she smiled at the men scanning, and quickly rode into the stables. After she left her horse she went into the castle, she walked through the halls carefully, when something she had for the Prince fell out on the ground infront of a gentleman, she started to pick it up and looked up at him.
