As the poll is now, it'd be a positive change because there are more supporters than non-supporters...

that would also leave 800+ CS'ers unhappy, i really dont think that would be good

me neither, I for one would have a completely tarnished view of this site from then onwards, so many pets id worked long an hard for to get changed would b a disaster and id feel crushed at all the effort and RARES wasted

I don't think the zebras were traced, so they would stay the same right?
Also there will be a new unicorn lineart, it might be amazing and you might love it even more - give things a chance. I think this is a really good idea - what equi did was art theft, and last I checked art theft isn't allowed on CS, I think this is only fair and I hope it changes because the ponies will look so much nicer! C:

@tgenie re-release is worth the exact same as a true date, people who don't know want the true dates but its pointless - it's worth the same!

We will never be rid of the tracing issue. It's not going to be ''Oh, you see that pony/horse/whatever? It was traced by Equi!" No, now it will be "That pony/horse/whatever used to be on different lines, but it was traced so they had to change it!"

Technically they will be worth the same, but truly it will make a big dent. It wont look good to have the old designs on new linearts, I understand perfectly well how it will work and that is why I do NOT want it to happen. Like someone else posted earlier, the old horses and ponies will become like commons to a lot of people because as of right now the lineart is special and it wont be as special if they get changed.

I have a somewhat "tarnished" view of the site for allowing an artist to trace and making no attempt to deal with the situation. If anything, replacing the equi horses would redeem the site for me.
Your argument works both ways.

If they don't go through with the project, it leaves +1300 unhappy.
i know but it would be worse if they decided to go through with it, it would have more of an impact on those against because its their fav pets, it causes mass complications

And what's the issue with the second thing? How else would a problem like that be dealt with? Tess couldn't have known that Equi was an art thief.

DarkStormer wrote:Now that I take a close glimpse at the old (equimagine) lineart, I actually don't want it to change. I mean, I also agree with you, seaofstarlight, most people are going to probably try to collect them now c: (Please correct me if I'm incorrect)

I honestly don't know if I should vote 'no' or 'yes' because I kind of like how the designs would go onto the new lineart, and I do also like the old desings...

Meep! I can't decide!

~Dark

You're correct, more people would probably collect with the change.

I understand how it can be difficult to choose though, I wanted the change because I prefer new lines to old, but I'm also a newish user with no sentiments, but even then I would probably vote 'yes' just because of the horrible stain on CS these lines leave. (I'm also just not as fond of how they look)

But to each their own. :3

Again, that is your opinion and is not a fact.

At this point if I had taken those pictures I would've sued the site. Honestly, the fact that people refuse to acknowledge this as theft is absolutely mind boggling.
