I really do not like this idea at all. I really do love the Equimagine lines, not just for the designs on them but because of the line art. To have these turned into the new lines would just lose their charm that they have to me. I think Yulynh's lines are wonderful don't get me wrong, but Equimagine lines are of an older time that I find interesting, especially since I wasn't around for it and I genuinely do like them as they are, and don't want to see them "updated".

It also seems a bit strange if the issue is about where the line art came from (the tracing? I guess is a bit before my time to know the exact details) but the line art was around in 2009 - 2010, and it has been a long time since then, if it really was an issue it would have been changed then rather than now I would guess. I don't really know what happened or the drama (if there was any) or how things went down, but replacing her lines when she did them for CS for over a year seems a little.. off to just erase her part in CS history.

I am against this idea. I mean, I agree that it would make groups look neater and such, but what about the zebras? They are the rarest pets on CS (as far as I know, that is XD) and I love them because of that lineart. They would just turn into extremely rare ponies with stripes, which I don't approve of. They are dreamies of mine, and I don't think I would like them anymore with the new lineart.

(and can someone tell me what page the proof that she traced them is on? I didn't see it...)

Does no one realize that the designs were not all done my Equi? Yes, the lineart was, but like the dogs I am fairly sure other artists coloured them in. (I think, I am sure that's how it works..) but if I am wrong, correct me, politely.

And I agree with above, I adopted Equis and never liked them.

Actually, except for the July 2010 litters, they are all listed in the archive as being done by her. I didn't know that until just now, when I looked. O.o

The photos have been found and Equi has admitted to tracing.

Just a question, where did she admit? I searched but couldn't find anything c: sorry if this sounds nosy!

And another question, does she still have her account? Because I think we should be able to PM her, to thank her for all her lovely designs <3

Last question; if this does go through, will all the artists he doing the change, or just one? c:

One problem I have with this is that now there are a TON of newbies on the site who dont care either way so they will probably vote in the lineart changes while the rest of us 'oldies' have to sit and watch in horror as CS wipes out all of our good memories as well as the good lines. I really wish that more people that joined a few years ago were still active today.

I'm an "oldie", I've adopted those horses and ponies and watched them grow up and gain rarity over time and I still vote yes for the change =P

Just because it's part of CS's history doesn't mean I can't vote yes. I still prefer the new lines over the old ones *shrug*

I've been here almost since the site began, and I remember when the Equi horses came out. (funnily enough, I remember the reaction not being entirely positive, either) I still prefer the new lines, and I fail to see how this is "history."
We learned the lines were traced, and having the outdated lines is no longer practical for the site. I still fail to see how this wouldn't be a positive change.

They have already said the Zebra's would not be changed with this project, if they do change them it will be with a separate poll.

We've got way bigger problems on this website than tracing, but they haven't been dealt with either. Consolidating and revising the rules that govern the entire community, for one. Don't expect things to move fast

Because believe it or not my friend, a lot of people actually like the old lines! Real hard to believe, right? NOT. it would be a negative because of the ammount of people that love the old lines and also because re-releases and revamps and all that stuff lose value.

I agree, I do understand the controversy over the art theft but I don't remember them for that, and im not saying that the new horses are better or worse, theyre different, one type of pet should be allowed to have two different forms or more. I think if these are getting changed "so items will fit" then the very first tess horses should be changed too in my opinion.
