if I was an artist here, I wouldn't want to be remembered for my designs. I would want to be remembered for the art, the new shape i had created. Some people are saying "its exactly the same just on a different horse" the words SAME and DIFFERENT create a paradox. It's not the same BECAUSE its on a different horse. Quite frankly if all the equimagine change, even the rare ones will be nothing but commons to me. And think about the people with hoards! They will have spent months maybe even a year trying to gather equimagine because they are different and they love their shape. They may have had to go though unfair trades an give rares for commons. And for what, to have the things they wanted so bad changed just as they were within their grasp!

My thoughts exactly, if you take away the specialness of the old lines then you have got nothing left.

Why not leave at least a couple of old designs?

The designs are not going to be transferred over identically if the project is done. They will be revamped, as has been stated, to give a better idea of what the design portrays.

You said yourself the design has been 'revamped' so how can you also say it looks the same? That makes no sense. And why is it so starnge to think this would be a horrible move? I dont care if they have been traced or not, they still look cool and all of the so called proof of the tracing that I saw was fake and the person who posted it had edited her lines to make it fit the photo! It leaves a mystery to it all and I like it. You guys already have it posted EVERYWHERE that you will not toloerate art theft so I dont think anyone could miss that message. And I dont know who made the new versions of the design on the horses and ponies desplayed on the front page but if they are insulted then I am not going to lie- I dont care. They should keep the design original then they would not have to feel insulted because there would not be comments like mine<3

Why is it okay for you to insult and make offensive comments, but people who disagree with you should not? Your opinion is not superior over anyone else's. If the site doesn't go through with the project, is it okay for me to insult equimagine's art because if the site had gone through with the transformation, she wouldn't have to feel insulted because there wouldn't be comments like mine?

It is true that equimagine at least heavily referenced some of her line-arts. She has admitted it herself. Whether she traced or not, she did commit art theft- nobody is making that up.

look at the comparisons between the old and new - especially the wave pony. The design is exactly the same, but extra detail has been brought out to enhance equi's ideas.

Nothing's being added to the composition, so I don't know what you mean by 'big red line'?

the big red lines an example of what your saying sounds like to some, and some might like the designs the way they are, not with 'extra detail' even some that support the change might not want the designs to be changed what so ever, if all that we are promised is the same design and then you add things even if they are small, it takes away the point of her art/designs alltogether, so people couldn't have a hoard of her designs because they wouldn't be by her. this leaves supports happy and none of people who dissagre happy.

I personaly like the old designs better. I dont mean to sound rude or anything but I like the old ones much better. Its what I am used to and prefer over the new ones.

To be honest, if the 'art theft' wasn't a part of this, I would say No to the change. I love the old pony lineart more, personally. Then again, I prefer the newer horse lineart more than the older ones. I hate to think that I've owned horses that have been traced over a copyrighted photo since I started CS. It baffles me. I mean no harm against Equi, but why keep the lineart when it's obviously been stolen? As it has been said many times, CS is strongly against art theft, and they should deal with Equi's art accordingly. Again, nothing against Equi, I personally loved her lineart, before I knew of it's origin.

For my own, greedy purposes, I want to say 'No! Don't change them.'. But when I think about it, I don't want my hands to be stained with art theft, therefore I will vote 'Yes.'

What do you expect to be done, for her designs to be copied and pasted onto the new horses? It's literally impossible to perfectly replicate a design unless you go through pixel by pixel. I think you should take a break, relax, then come back and reread when you wrote, because it doesn't make a lick of sense.
