In light of all I have learned about the shadiness of the equi lines, I think I would be rather upset if they weren't changed. Especially since a majority of voters are in favor of it. As I have said before, I have never liked them personally because they feel more simplistic and of a lesser quality than the other pets here, and the only equi's I have on my WL are the Unicorns... (but they get a boon solely because they are Unicorns). I would be absolutely frothing at the mouth if they were given new lines and better quality designs!

I don't think I have an opinion on this, but I would like to see all of the horses that would be changed into the new lines beforehand. I want a feel for them, and maybe having a few lines switched for a few days on tess's account would make it easier for people to get used to this idea?

Imagine this situation:
The staff put half a year into changing every horse.
Now, they present them.
CS community votes against them.
Half a year successfully wasted.
I think the examples are more than enough, so I do not support your idea^^

no, you're not understanding my idea.
it's to just have them as a 'pet', maybe on a less -popular horse, and it would make more sense anyway, rather than showing them.
or have some sort of archive to show the switches? i'm getting a poor feel for what they'll look like.

I don't understand why people are saying they hoard for the lines unless they actually hoard all of equi's pets on her lines, or something of the like.

I hoard because I like the design, I could care less about the way it was presented so long as the design is consistent. I'm sure that's the main reason why the majority of people hoard- for the design or the way it looks.

The designs WILL be consistent in the switch, even better, actually.

You said yourself the design has been 'revamped' so how can you also say it looks the same? That makes no sense. And why is it so starnge to think this would be a horrible move? I dont care if they have been traced or not, they still look cool and all of the so called proof of the tracing that I saw was fake and the person who posted it had edited her lines to make it fit the photo! It leaves a mystery to it all and I like it. You guys already have it posted EVERYWHERE that you will not toloerate art theft so I dont think anyone could miss that message. And I dont know who made the new versions of the design on the horses and ponies desplayed on the front page but if they are insulted then I am not going to lie- I dont care. They should keep the design original then they would not have to feel insulted because there would not be comments like mine<3

Just wanted to point out that this doesn't make sense ^^; if they're better, they're not consistent. (It's like saying that an artist that has improved their style is consistent.) Better, sure, but not consistent ^^;

I think the new designs are more detailed - take the wave pony - the first has no detail on the wave and is just basic blue, while the other has more detail, colouring, shading on the wave.

Art theft is not something to be taken lightly.
so what if it's cute, it's illegal.
And no, ugh, the proof is not fake.
And equi admitted to it herself?
How can you possibly ignore all that?
And the copyrights?
The feeling the original photographer probably has about this?
