If your drawing lines up perfectly with a photo there's a 99.9% chance it's traced or very heavily referenced.

got ninja'd again, but that's not harpalyce's original post, [it was reblogged from her, but that was not a link to her blog] so it's fine. no one's beating up equi - someone asked, and they got an answer. the topic is completely relevant to the discussion and as long as no fights break out, the posts are completely fine.

i honestly don't see how someone could say that picture isn't traced, though. it lines up exactly with that horse - same pose, same measurements, same bone and muscle structure, same angle, the list goes on.
