I agree with 'hunter clarington'.

I use to very much enjoy Equi's lines. I didn't know, until I came across this topic, that her lines were traced. That takes away everything I use to love about them. It doesn't matter if a lot of the users want to keep the original lines, because those lines are breaking CS' rules, as well as the law. Art theft, whether you are tracing over a photo or a drawing, is completely unacceptable and should be treated as such. Not to say we should argue, and bicker, but I think it is very important that we take care of this ASAP. I'm not posting this to continue the fight, but to hopefully bring more clarity to the subject.

I would also like to ask; Is all of Equi's lines art theft? If not, are we getting rid of those as well?

Thank you,

~Sheeran

There is nothing wrong with the new line art but the old kinds aren't made anymore which makes them special in my opinion. But I like the overall idea. I just think since equamagines aren't made anymore they have a special value to some players, like an antique. Sorry for any misspellings.

I agree, I think equamagines have always been special for it's unigeness and lineheart.
If I'm not answering, I'm probably at work. I usually get on in the late evening my time (listed timezone below)

Pronouns are they/them and you can call me Starfalling, M, or Morgan. I'm in Pennsylvania which is on EST (CStime -4)

I love trading, although I'm recently back from a long hiatus so I'm not fully up to date on demand. For any current event pets, I’ll only trade them away if I have a double, and I don't trade growing pets Real life got hectic and I somehow missed the whole month of May on here. Looking for all May pets, will keep WL updated as I go

I use bold a lot because it's easier for me to read, since you can't change other people's font size and being zoomed in constantly is annoying

I am a holibomber!
Sig was getting long, my counts have been moved to trade rules

I would say keep the lines, but considering the lines were almost certainly traced/copied and CS comes down harshly on art theft, I believe we should replace the lines - in my opinion it's unfair to allow an artist to get away with it, as it were, and then come down upon regular users; the rules to be fair for everyone. Art theft is not allowed by CS rules - and the law. I do like Equimagine's lines but if they're traced or copied, it's not fair for the owners of the original photos.

Please note this was not intended to be rude, if anyone was offended by this, and I am aware I'm speaking as if Equimagine did certainly traced/copied the lines; if she didn't, then this comment can be cast aside. No offense was intended and this is just my humble opinion on the matter.

Among other lines I am going to completely miss, the ponies look so much cuter and the drafts their eyes are so big and beautiful T-T I hope this does not happen, I've been a member since early 2010 and id be so upset. I love Equimagines lines.

Well, I have decided to change my vote to Yes.
I originally voted No, as I love all my equi horses dearly and like their lines more than the Yulynh lines.
But now that I've heard so much about the art theft problem, I've decided it would be better for CS if the lines were changed.

Just saying, Horses can only pose so many ways! You need a reference from somewhere, how does drawing a horse in a pose count as art theft?

Also, would Malk Horses be changed as well?
