I think there needs to be some calming down in this thread, there are mountains being made out of molehills. The point of the thread is a simple vote on whether you want the revamps or not. Put in your vote and be done with it if you have nothing nice or inoffensive to say.

I would also like to add that this change would be 100% beneficial to the artists who make items (myself included) to make everything uniform and easier to convert. It is already regrettably sad to have horse items that only fit half the ones in existance, would you not like to dress your pets equally? I would love to make more horse items knowing that everyone could use them fully.

I understand the need to let the users voice their concerns, but it seems that the same issues are just being rehashed at this point. Furthermore, all this negativity the thread is breeding seems unnecessary... Could it not be locked to additional comments and only allow for voting?

It would just not be the same. The horses and ponies would look like something else we never had...they would loose their quality, charisma, individuality and would be a bunch of generalized and revised creatures I couldn't love anymore

And funny thing is, those were actually changed (back in 2010, I believe) to look different =P
Malk had a similar poll to this and she eventually updated all her old pets. The only pets left with the old Malk linearts are the elemental cats, not sure why though.

Although I will miss the lineart, maybe some users will miss them because it's "Special" and stands out for the older artist(s) c:
