I'll state again that even if the whole tracing thing wouldn't stand up in court - which I don't think it would - from an ethics point of view, it's just kinda... grody. So I'm in favor of the change. Perhaps it's not legally wrong, but I think it's morally and ethically a problem.

Not all Equi's art is traced people!
While I support the removal/replacement of the traced lines 100% , I really am against the removal of all equi's work from the site. I think retired lines are an important part of CS and add to the fun of the game.

Changing the zebra's (or making exceptions for some pets) wouldn't even make any sense.. they're not traced, they're a separate species, and they still wouldn't fit the items

But..most of it is? It still doesn't seem right to keep the horse lines. They're not going away, they'll still be remembered, there will be an archive or someone will make an archive, and even then its easier for everyone to have uniform lines, and personally the new one's are more pleasing to the eye (to me).

This shouldn't be a debate really, most, if not ALL the horse/pony lines are traced (the image linked above prove that). They need to go, its hypocritical to keep them.

I'm beginning to side with those who believe this topic should never have even existed in the first place. They should have executed the motion like they've done with line-arts in the past, rather than poll it for a decision. This has turned into nothing but a massive fight and a headache for most everyone involved.

I'm going to bow out of the topic now, because the PMs and messages I'm getting offsite on my tumblr aren't worth it, but I still am saying 'yes' and truly believe that this probably shouldn't have been brought to a vote at all. Considering the names and arguments that have been thrown around.
In any case, I hope everything works out, and in a smooth manner.
