I as much as I am for fairness. I have to agree.

I was just thinking this same thing. I am so all for removing all traces of Equimagine's lineart one minute. Then I don't want to lose my PPS foals and ponies the next and I wish they'd all stay just for the sake of those.

I'm actually stressing over this lol. I will be sooo glad when it's all over whatever the outcome.

I can't really say how I really feel until the unicorn art is realesed, like I said.

Yes, this a million times over, its clear that they already have started the process, we have examples. CS isn't known for doing things at a super rapid pace, not an awful thing - its the nature of a large site, but when you already have started the work, there is no point in stopping it.
I know it looks nice to put it up for a vote, but now it's dragging all kinds of things out, and earlier there was some pretty heated mud slinging and the like.

Also, if the 'yes' wins, even if its not a huge 70 percent majority they say they want, it might as well be done anyway. Its still a majority, and I bet that after a month no one will care anymore.

I completely agree

When I think about it, even though I love the lines and don't want them changed I feel this is fair as long as the new lines are good. Once the emotional side of me calmed down and my logical side shined through I came to that decision.

You have to think about it from a different point of view, if CS got hit for art theft there would be no more CS. I'd much rather have different horses than no CS at all. Also now knowing that the lines were stolen doesn't make them seem as awesome.

Though I'd like to point out that I don't like the idea of everything being the same and from the same line arts, I never want that to happen. Nor would I be accepting of this change just because of the items, the only reason I'm for it is because of the art theft.

I myself support the switch, but I'd like to be able to go through and see the old horse lines, if I ever want to. Will there be a section in the archives for equi's lines?
Spirit10 and I are partners, we use the same internet!!

If there's not, I'm sure that some user somewhere has already started saving the old horse lines, just like with the old Malk lines, someone can always make an archive in the forums ^^

A section for her lines would be a good idea, if we could get permission from the creator of the originals. People will still probably screen cap them though

I'd think there would be, or at the very least they would still be up on the Chicken Smoothie Wiki, so you could always look there if you wanted too :)

Hm I would say maybe, Some horses look better in the Equine look, then in the newer Yulyhn, and vice versa.
Though more likely many of us would feel a tad bit emotional by the change, I mean some older players/users would enjoy the feel of the old look compared to the newer. But some may enjoy the change.
Me how ever am neutral some look better, some are not bad just doesn't seem like the right lines.

I voted yes because I think the horses/ponies would benefit from being one big, uniform group (plus I think the new lines are more anatomically correct and prettier to look at, something seemed to be off about some of the older lines). I honestly don't think different/older lines will become rarer or something as someone suggested, horses/ponies were never that popular, specially back then, and it's unlikely that their popularity will change now while they remain the same. Special lines like Tess horses and Malk horses never had a category of their own and were released occasionally, so I agree about keeping them as they are.

What about zebras though? Aren't those lines by equimagine too?
