I nod slightly before placing my forhead on my knees with a fustrated sigh. After a few seconds I sit back up and pull myself off the floor. Then, after brushing off my slightly blody jeans, I turn back to face John. "Im sorry, I shouldn't have told you that...but thanks for listening. No ones ever done that before..." Turning away I head for the kitchen, determinded to make myself eat something. Stoping at the door, I turn back to him with a smile. "Oh, and thanks for carrying me into the guest bedroom....wanna sandwich?"

John watched her the whole time, his hand falling back to his side. He remained silent as she talked and thanked him, and even though she explained why she was thankful, he still didn't really understand why. All he had done was stay quiet and listen to her. Why hadn't anyone else done that? It was simple, just shut up and let the other person speak their mind. He shook his head slowly. "No, I'm alright."

"Suite yourself!" I reply with a small giggle and shake of the head, making my way into the kitchen. Gathering some bread, peanut butter, and jelly I slap together a sandwhich. Putting everything away, I hop up onto the counter, swinging my legs while forceing myself to eat.

John closed his eyes and began to drift off to sleep. He began to breath heavily as he fell asleep, his mind wondering off as he dreamt.

Finally I get to the last bite of my sandwich, happy that i can now be done eating for a while. Brushing the crumbs into my hand, I move to the trash can. After washing my hands, I step back out into the living room with a glass of water. Seeing john, I pull the blanket from a near by chair and gently cover him. With a small smile, I wander back into the guest bedroom where Id slept earlier and make the bed.

John's face scrunched up, and his breathing quickened. Memories were filling his brain, and they were playing like a movie behind his eyes. he begged them to stop, but they just kept coming. The sunken eyes, the clashing teeth, the spindly fingers, they were all piling on him. He heard a gun shot, then another loud boom. Blood was everywhere, even on him, though it wasn't his own, but he wished it had been. So many things he regretted, so many things he wished to be untrue, all unfolding before him in a heart wrenching slideshow. He mumbled in his sleep, begging and pleading for it all to go away. He wished to just forget everything, but that was a treasure too great for him to have.

Hearing noises, I run from the bedroom knife in hand. When I reach the living room, I let myself calm for a second and put away my blade. I slowly inch towards john, trying to deterine wether to try and wake him or not. Hearing his pleas, I kneel down next to him and lightly place a hand on his shoulder. Gain confidence, I tighen my grip a bit and place my other hand on his far shoulder and shake somewhat softly, hoping it will wake him.

When John felt something touch his shoulder, his instinct kicked in. He grabbed Fabian's hands, even before his eyes opened. He looked her in the eyes and sighed gently, relaxing when he realized it was her and not one of the infected. He sat up slowly and slowly let go of her hands. "Sorry..." He whispered.

I remain still, startled at how fast he jumped up. I don't blame him though, I mean I would have done the exact same thing earlier if I hadn't been practicly passed out. "Its fine! Im so sorry! Are you ok? I was debating for a second wether or not to wake you but....Im sorry!" I cover my face with my hands for a second, feeling bad. Looking back up at him I smile, somewhat worriedly, and fold my hands together infront of me.

John put his hand on her shoulder. "Hey, it's okay. Don't be sorry. Thank you for waking me. I was... Having a bad dream..." He stood up slowly, removing his hand from her and putting it in his pocket. He looked around the room and sighed. "I wonder how long we'll be able to stay here..."
