Welcome to Calypso; a planet hidden among the stars.

This planet is the home of the Initium Novums, a race of giant wolf/dragon like creatures.
They are mostly gentle creatures but are very protective of their companions, often acting
as guards by will. Many other species roam the planet freely and are the main source of
food for the Novums. Each animal has similarities with the species on Earth...

Calypso is mostly a cooler and snowy place for the most part, but there are warmer areas for
the sun loving Initium Novums. There are many areas and features to the planet. Rivers, lakes,
mountains, forests, and so on. Many different caverns dot the moutains so there is always
something to explore. The Great Cavern is in the side of Mount Nyx, the opening located
behind a waterfall and clear pool of water. Torches line the walls, stalagmites here and there.
A large pool of water lays in the center, just beyond it the dens of the Alphas and Deltas.
Tunnels stretch from this main area, heading deep into the mountain, and leading to other
dens and areas. Calypso has three different moons: Fiona, Diana, and Lunar. Another planet
is just nearby, Zora, that can be seen in the sky, but few have ever traveled there as it is said
to be a dark and dangerous place as the natural enemy of the Initnum Novums live there, a
race of large cats.

You find yourself in an unfamiliar area, dazed, not knowing you have ended up on a completely different planet. It's cold and the wind blows your hair as it chills you to the bone. It appears to be night out, the stars and two moons suspended in the sky above you. Snow flies around on the howling wind and you squint as you see a large dark figure just ahead. What is it? It doesn't look to be another person...

I large creature, almost as big as yourself steps from the swirling snow, her gentle, glowing purple eyes fixated on you. "Welcome to Calypso, young traveler. I am Isa, guardian of this place. Come with me, it's too cold for you to stay out here any longer, you'll freeze." You nod slowly and follow at her shoulder, her tall frame blocking some of the bitter wind. She leads you to a large opening in the side of a towering mountain. It's a cavern and torches line the walls of the space, softly illuminating the area. You are surprised to see other creatures like Isa as well as other humans mingling and lounging around, safe and away from the cold. Stalagmites hang here and there, and a large, clear pool of water stands along the back wall, water trickling from a crack in the wall. There are several different chambers, a network of tunnels and spaces within the mountain. "Welcome to the Great Cavern. Here you may meet new companions or befriend another Initium Novum." She nudges your back with her muzzle, pushing you forward gently, "Go on little one, talk to the others. Do not be afraid."

Nervous, you look back at the gentle giant, her warm gaze looking own on you and nod before stepping forward. Here, you would meet a companion hopefully for life...

Q: How many Initium Novums can I own?
A: You may own as many as you want! All we ask is that you don't have so many that all they're doing is collecting dust. We want them to be loved and adored.

Q: If I no longer want mine, can I trade or sell it? If not, what can I do with it?
A: No! You may not sell or trade away you Initium Novum(s) as stated in the rules. If you no longer want one of yours I feel you have to many you are to send them back to TrueBluue so she can re-home them.

Q: Can I breed my Initium Novum?
A: Yes, you may, but you need to buy a token first from the shop and post the forum that's there. True or one of the artists will get to it.

Q: Can I make a custom?
A: Yes, but you need to get a token and True's permission.

Here is we're we will post different kinds of contests! We will hold art contests to become an artist here, name that Initium Novum, writing contests, and so on. We will also give away Initium Novos, store items (custom positions, wildcards, accessory requests, aging potions and so on) as well as the change to gain a rare mutation to add to an offspring or a new adopt you win. Several contests may run at a time and will happen frequently so continue to check this!
