[got beat to it again ugh]
but actually, yes, there have been some pretty convincing overlay charts [in some, equi's lines lined up exactly], but obviously it is forbidden to post them so i'll just leave it at that. even if she did just reference them, it is basically impossible to get your lines to line up exactly with the reference's lines.
and even so, cs still counts uncredited referencing as art theft.

and wouldn't it be better to fix the issue, even if it meant 'taking away', or altering peoples' pets rather than leaving it as is with little explanation? that doesn't put out a very good example, considering the site highly advertises against art theft.

I see that you're trying to deny something that has a key factor i whether this site stays alive or not. It's been brought to my attention that one of your artists, (retired, if I may) Equimagine has traced some photos in order to create her lineart. Many of your users are aware of this, and now I am as well. You cannot deny that she didn't, and you cannot pretend that it never happened. There will always be images on the internet, and there will always be proof.
I also have heard that you have been saying it was an, ''accident''. I understand maybe you need a referance, but you don't just trace an image and say, "Oops my finger slipped." You have also been denying it the whole time, and you and your mods have been trying to cover it up, but deleting any posts confronting this problem.
Here is the evidence:

Guys, this thread isn't here to discuss whether or not there was art theft. It is here to discuss whether or not you want the Equi horses to be redone in the Yul lines for uniformity and item use.

The mods have said it several times now...

I agree. Maybe Equi didn't really trace over the lines, but used it as a referance! That is what I do sometimes with my drawings. I look at the image and do my best to make it look like it but not exactly like it.

But this brings back up a point; Why have potentially traced lines when we could have non-traced lines by a reliable artist?
And yes, I have seen the photos, they were posted quite a few times.

That's not my point Art. My point is that there are loads of horse poses! Maybe Equi was thinking at the top of her/his head and didn't really know there were pictures of horses in those poses! Where is the proof that she/he traced it? I don't see any around here...

If you read back a page or two, you'd see all of those have already been posted in this thread, many times, and are in fact being discussed, not deleted. You've posted nothing that isn't already in full view.

Alright it seems that no matter what you do you are really never going to get everyone to like what you do. I was thinking about something a bit back and I did say but I want to clear it up. With the change since they are already making the lines and yes I know this would be more wokr but hear me out first. Just give the user the right to change the lines of there own horses, not change everyones on the site. Just put a simple box under the old horses that says something like change to new lines or change to original lines. This is not going with anything other then that fact of people wanting to keep the old and others wanting to change. The only real way I see to keep everyone happy is figure out a way to do both and yes I know it would be more work, but they are already talking about redrawing all of the old lines this would not be much more adding to that. It was just an idea to try and make more people happy and yes there are things wrong with it, so please don't blow up at the idea or talk about the lines being traced thats really not what this topic is about anyway and I know I was talking about it before. But alright.

Did you forget me so soon?
The one who made you,
turned you into this monster?
How sad.

Though I guess it's to be expected,
you always liked to block things out.
If it didn't make sense in your mind,
you just forgot about it.

But maybe it's because I didn't,
make you into a monster that is.
You already were a monster,
weren't you?

They said the Roadkill PPS would most likely say the same as it is.

If you go to the archives and look at the newborn stages, they don't look nearly as smooth or advanced as the traced (or allegedly traced) artwork. It looks like they were drawn by two different people at two different levels of skill. That seems like additional proof to me, as the newborn stages are the only ones not accused of being traced.

The traced ones are mostly for the growing stages, which aren't seen anymore unless your're in the archive or you have a PPS.
The 'evidence' for the adult equi lines being traced isn't very good.
Anything can be made to look traced

NOT ACCUSING THE NEW LINES OF BEING TRACED AT ALL JUST MAKING A POINT
