okay if you think hunters just kill animals for nothing, you have no idea what hunters actually do. my grandparents and uncles all hunt, and they eat the meat of whatever they kill. they don't waste any meat, and they leave what they don't use for scavengers. hunters normally have a lot of respect for the animals they take. it's poachers who have no respect for the animals or the law. please take that into consideration.
Didn't mean that either, can we change the subject, for example, how beautiful wolves are?

i'm kind of curious as to what you meant, but yeah let's change the subject. c: no hard feelings, yeah?
a few months ago my grandparents drove out here to visit for thanksgiving. we got to go to the
Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, and they've got a few packs of wolves out there along with a few hundred big cats. we got to hear them howling, and it was really awesome. C:

aw, you're lucky! hearing wolves howl is probably one of the coolest things.
unfortunately we usually only hear coyotes around here, but one night when we were just leaving my grandma's cabin i heard some wolves. unfortunately, the only wild wolves i've ever actually seen both ended up getting hit by cars :c
i'd love to visit a wolf sanctuary some day, though.

I have a question, sorry if it sounds rude or anything; But why do you all care about wolves so much? From what I've seen its just because they're 'pretty'. I mean, this thread is about saving wolves of course but the only reason I have seen all together that people want them to be saved is because they have pretty coats/eyes. Theres more important species that people don't even bother to learn about because they're simply not attractive to the eyes, such as the surinam toads, etc.

I was camping in the new forest (an old forest in England) and we went to a zoo-ish place and there was a wolf sleeping, he was really pretty (also there was clothes-eating deer but that's irrelevant)

Well, if anyone like me, I love all animals, they're all beautiful in their own way

it really was <3 the lions were roaring at each other too, and that was also pretty awesome. ouo we'd been there about a month before for my birthday, but it was snowing sideways so we didn't get to see a whole lot.
have some pictures from our little adventure, though~

I think it would be kinda silly to do all that we do just because they are 'pretty'. Of course some people could think that but I think everyone here is also pasionate about learning their true nature and the animal itself not just the looks.
