It's ridiculous to take away other users pets or alter them because of your mistake. You all can spew what ever you want about a "Fresh start" or whatever. But covering up what you did wrong is the opposite of a "fresh start." Starting new is exactly what CS has done in the past years by adding new line arts, releasing those, and dealing with there past problems. Not this. >.>

It's wrong for CS to alter pets users have worked hard to collect.

Thank you very well said and no it may not be covering up what they have done, but it's not going to change it if the person ever did want to do anything about it. But just to change it over because some are unhappy with the items not fitting or because there are simply 'to many' to me it's just not real reason.

Likely the photographers don't know. It's a big internet, after all. However, I would be happy to try and inform them! A lot of the pictures seem to be from personal sites.

I do not think this is a cover-up in the least, if anything it is the OPPOSITE of a cover-up to admit that there is a problem and to then fix it. iirc the old designs will still be available to look at in the archive - if not official, I am sure people will make fan-archives if the switch happens. The history will still be there. But instead of denying the problem, CS will have done something to fix it.

A cover-up, after all, is just making excuses for a problem to continue. A lot of people would like to see this mistake corrected, which I don't think is a cover-up at all. Instead it's a good example for everyone. If you make a mistake, you don't just shrug and say 'well, it is what it is' - you do something to make it right. c:

If this were a cover up, then this "transformation" thing wouldn't be going on in the first place. This is the artists on CS seeing a problem and giving us hours upon hours of their time to fix it. But since you feel that way, perhaps you should contact the photagrapher and let them know of the problem and that it is being fixed.
If the artist actually cares and they find out on their own, CS could actually be in trouble.
    It's good to be back.

I really love all the older horses and ponies as they are, the different line arts also kind of show how cs had evolved over time and ours just a nice variation to me.

No one is voting yes to be mean or to hurt the people who like them. That would be like me asking everyone voting to consider the feelings of those who really love the Yulynh lines and really want the change. I know that the people inclined to vote no aren't doing it because they don't want me or the other yes-voters to be happy. I hope those inclined to vote no understand this about the supporters as well.

I have no idea what you said and if you where agreeing or not. (Maybe I should have worded it better) I'm just saying its best to Acknowledge bloth sides of a argument before you vote (:

I agree. Maybe Equi didn't really trace over the lines, but used it as a referance! That is what I do sometimes with my drawings. I look at the image and do my best to make it look like it but not exactly like it.

The whole point of the voting is to express your opinion, not to vote "no" or "yes" because you're afraid you'll hurt someone's feelings. And anyways, if you're thinking that way, you would be voting "yes" because that's what the majority of CS wants so far.
This is just a point, I'm not trying to force anyone into anything, but think before you make a statement like that.

It should stay how it is because If someone likes the Yulynh lines there are many horses with them.
However if we get rid of Equi's then no horses will have her lines, which I think is unfair to the people who enjoy them.

The foal is obviously traced.

People need to realize that this is art theft and it was blatantly traced off, not just "aww i like this lineart, why would you even change anyways?!"

But this brings back up a point; Why have potentially traced lines when we could have non-traced lines by a reliable artist?
And yes, I have seen the photos, they were posted quite a few times.

I was disagreeing with you because in your post you were making a plea for voters to consider the feelings of those who love and own those horses, which sounded like you were asking people to especially consider the "no" side. If you meant acknowledge both sides of the argument, that's fine, but that's not how I read it. I was saying that what you wrote as I understood it was unfair, as if people inclined to vote yes weren't taking the feelings of others into account. Just saying that no one is voting to be mean, many of the people here genuinely desire this change, just like many people desire it not to happen. Sorry for the misunderstanding and I hope that makes more sense. :)
