Hi I disagree with this choice because these horses are amazing parts of CS history.

One of your reasons said that the horse items dont all fit all horses so why dont you just trade for them or if they do not exist (not sure) then make some!

The history of these horses is ongoing and other future members may not even know that equimagine existed and equimagine has made CS his own and done all CS members a massive favour!

Also this will only cost CS owners (such as Tess and Nick) more money because they will have to pay the artists for their time and art!

I think this is a bad idea!

No, it's not a form of art theft - when she made the designs for the website, the designs became the property of Chicken Smoothie to do with them as they wish.

No, it's not a form of art theft - when she made the designs for the website, the designs became the property of Chicken Smoothie to do with them as they wish.

In addition to this, it'd be impossible for her to have copyrighted something like the realistic markings on one month's batch or the batch where every horse had a different color of hair. She didn't make them originally.

It'd be like putting a Jaguar's spots on a wolf and saying, "THIS IS MY ORIGINAL SPECIES, DON'T STEAL!!" When there's no defining features to it other than it's a wolf with spots. If it came to something serious like a lawsuit, a judge would probably get mad at her for wasting his time.

Besides, I'm certain Tess and Nick have already talked with Equi about this update. I doubt she'd really be able to stop them if she didn't want them to initiate a change like that (it's their site, not hers), but I wouldn't think Tess/Nick are the type of people to just throw out someone's work without the original artist's consideration or without her knowing, first.

It's really silly to get so worked up about it, though.
Change can be hard to get used to, but it it's not exclusively a negative or positive thing.
Why, I remember when Neopets changed its layout from the original sidebar on the left to having it across the top. I HATED the new layout for months until it started to grow on me. c: The horses will still be the same ones you know and love, they'll just be a little refreshed. x3
