I feel you, it is not fair that someone says your a bad artest because you don't have a tablet or yay, we got another GOOD artest because if you don't have a tablet your lines come out a little difforent. I wish all the people who say that kind of stuff could see our pencil and paper art, then I bet they would be blown away!

Granted, I'm getting better at using a mousepad, but if only you could see my traditional art...

I've never been called a bad artist, and all of the comments I've received are really nice and thoughtful, so I can't really complain there. ^-^

I myself have always used a mousepad, and sometimes even a mouse if I'm feeling creative with the background. :3 I actually own a tablet, but I've never used it on oekaki, mainly because the touchscreen stopped working after the second use. stupid hyperhydrosis

However, I think that even if I ever got a new tablet, or fixed mine, I'd still prefer the mousepad. :3 I'm more used to it, and I feel comfortable with it. I think anyone who feels comfortable using a certain drawing method, whether it be a mousepad, mouse, or tablet, has the ability to draw incredible things. The tablet merely replicates how you draw traditional art, it doesn't increase skill.
