At first I would like to ask one question to the administrators.

Are all Equimagine designs belong to you? I'm sure of course, because it's the part of CS.
But then I would like to ask you a next question: did you ever thought, that lineart it's a part of design? That if the artist create design for the pet, he at first thinks how it will looks in the concrete lines?
Because, in this case, this will be not bringing the new form to the old pets, that will be creating the new pets. Design of the Yulynh horse lines is enough different form the old ones.

Also, what's problem with items? Why did you not going to change old cat's lines? CS had enough quite different pets and linearts, and that is good. Because then we, users, have a choise.
You simply could not adapt new items for the old lines. And all will be happy, I'm sure.

Anyway, new draft lines are very good, and it would be nice to see them as new adoptable.

But as others already said, changing all horses to the new lines- it's just killing history of the CS.

One more moment. Linearts can change. What will you do, if all horses will be redrawn, but (for example) Yulynh leaves CS, as it sometimes happanes with artist because of real life?
Do you understand, that changing all horses to the one lineart, means at least, that this lineart ideal, and it will be not changed in future? I'm not sure about this. I like the Yulynh lines, but as horse artist I know, they are not ideal.

I support all changes in CS, but not destroying own history and past.

yes the designs belong to CS, that's a condition of making art for CS since it would be problematic otherwise if an artist left and decided to take all their designs with them. Yulynh's horse lines belong to CS so they won't be retired unless we want to retire them. Even if Yulynh retires, her lines are likely to remain for the foreseeable future. The reason equimagine's lines were replaced in 2010 was because of the controversy and animosity surrounding her linearts at the time, and we don't anticipate having those kinds of problems with Yulynh's linearts.

Equimagine's horses were the first I've adopted on CS and I just like them more than new ones, regardless if they were traced/copied, etc (all horses are the same and there is no chance you will find a new unique pose), do new items suit them or not.
These horses and ponies are the only thing that we have after she is gone. They make us remember that CS wasn't all the way the same as we see it today.
If you will update these pets, then update all the old linearts, no matter who had drawn it.
Most of the designes would be much different from the originals and wont suit the new lineart. That's my opinion. So I voted for "NO!".

Tess, that really not good to change old horses. That just will be new pets, not old ones. I'm sure, artists will do amazing work, and redrawn pets will be good, but that will be different from old ones, which we love with all deficiencies.
