Thorntail smiled and rubbed his pelt against hers as they walked back to camp. "I thought you might love the fresh air!"

{ Ok! ^.^ When do you want to have the other litter? Or should we wait a few more weeks (our time)? }

Russetleap purred, nuzzling his cheek gently with the tip of her nose, "And you were so right..." She purred, wrapping her long, bushy tail with his half of one. She had always wondered how long it used to have been, or how long it could've been if the tree hadn't landed on it. She picked up her fresh kill, and matched his pace as they marched back to camp.

"As your mentor," She continued, "It is my job to make sure you receive all the training that I believe you can take on; and Lionpaw, I believe that you can do more than that." She stood up, crouching down into an attacking mode. "Even though you may not know your opponent personally, or what moves they excel in, you must be ready to assume. If this means that you have to take a few blows in order to judge their movements before you can attack, do it. It is better than going in blind." She then watched the tom tentatively, giving him some time to think before she went on. "Like I said before, guess. Take in their size, do they look like one that is lean enough to bounce around and swipe, or is their build stronger, and will they waste no time in going for you? Take in the size of their limbs, and make sure that you always have a long enough gap in between yourself and your opponent, so that they are not able to claw even the smallest tuft of fur from your pelt."

Sablekit sighed, watching as Spottedkit grew cautious. Her ears flickered as she watched Tigerkit approach her, head down, and large tabby build, slumped. She decided not to ask, and just smiled a greeting as he came and sat next to her, occasionally glancing up at Spottedkit.

MistFur sat down and wondered when she would receive her first apprentice, the warthm of the sun encircled her.She purred with satisfaction, she had a crush.....but who was it?

Lionpaw nodded, lots of Brighteye's wise information was gethering into his head.

MistFur's mind flickered to Dustpelt, he was so strong and handsome. He was her crush, she shook her head. He would never feel the same .She thought to herself and sighed,she heard RussetLeap walk back into camp, she nodded a greeting to her.

Spottedkit looked at her mother, before looking away.

Brighteyes got closer to the ground, as if about to pounce. She immediately stopped, and sat straight up. "We are going to go collect moss for the elders." She announced, feeling as if she could hear his heart shatter with disappointment from where it was she sat. "We will continue this later."

Russetleap smiled a warm greeting in response to Mistfur, glad to see the she-cat again. Her gaze then fluttered over to her kit, watching as she turned away. Her eyes grew wide with worry as she rushed over to her kit, "What did I tell you!?" She wailed quietly, though painfully, "Don't climb up there when no one's watching!! Come down!"

Spottedkit winched. "No, mommy!" She wailed.

Lionpaw nodded. "Okay, Brighteyes."

Mistfur walked over."I see your kits are doing well".She smiled warmly at Russetleap.

"Yes!!" She ordered Spottedkit, and then turned back to Mistfur, trying to calm down. "Just, one kit," She corrected, "One, disobedient kit..."

Brighteyes smiled warmly, glad that he was able to hide disappointment so easily.
