Personally, I think this change has been a long time coming and hopefully it will be implemented as the examples shown are gorgeous. Since the old lines were apparently art theft then this should have happened ages ago, so it's good that the rules are finally being upheld. I admit I'll be sad to see a few of the PPSs change but generally I think this is needed and can see no reason against it.

Excuse me for being passionate about a topic that hits so close to home. As an artist, the fact I'm seeing artists argue that the fact Equi stole the lines doesn't matter is making me legitimately sick to my stomach and making me entirely question the reason I even bother playing.
The explanation of why my posts were being deleted would be satisfactory were it true, but I keep seeing on-topic and polite posts get deleted, so I'll just say, fine.
I will refrain from further posting for the time being. Hopefully people who vehemently disagree with me with also take this opportunity to stop pming me vague threats of physical violence.

Again, the new lines for the draft horse are beautiful, the updated designs are fantastically executed and I'll be holding on to my Equimagine pets thus forth in grand anticipation of them being updated.
They/Them pronouns only.

Just throwing in a little thing to support Draiki's opinions- notice how poorly Equi's designs are executed. If someone had as much skill as it takes to draw a realistic horse like she did, ask yourself the simple question of why her designs were at a significantly lesser standard?

You don't simply get good at one part of art at a time. It's all a gradual improvement slope, and yet, the difference between her anatomy and coloring skills are leagues apart and that just doesn't happen naturally. Although a lot of you don't want to admit it, the horses are traced and need to be removed from the site.

I understand if you all want to keep your horses you love. I know I'll miss some of the pps ponies if things change over. But for a moment, stop and consider what's best for CS as a whole, instead of just for yourself.

I'm still a definite yes. The old lines will be missed but everything will be more organized. However, I feel like the pps should stay the same.

-3B-, I just ...... completely agree. Thank-you for the awesome rambly view ^.^

Does anyone agree with me on the mane or am I just crazy?

I think the fact they were traced is a good enough reason alone.
Now I don't blame the artist for that, they still look amazing, but it is something that could later harm the site.

I think that it is for the best of the site to change them.

I don't get why the pony lines need to be changed, period. Honestly, I dislike the new lines compared to the old ones (though love the designs xD ) and the old ones are so cute <3 they aren't traced, are they? If not, I don't see why THEY need to be changed...
Then again, they would look good on the newer lines xD . Just, idk, they need to fix the old designs then its perfect xD

I think the pony manes are cute on all of the designs, but I don't think they'll be modifying the current lineart, whether they decide to go ahead with the change or not. :) But that's just my supposing.

If the mane was modified to be like the Equi ones on all the updates, that could interfere with any items that go on the pony's face and make them not fit, which would defeat the purpose to a large extent. If the original design had an edited mane, that would be one thing, but for the ones that were on the 'basic' lines, they would probably be put on the 'basic' form of the new lines as well. Though I do like the idea of a longer mane/tail for the Rainbow-mane, just because it's such a huge part of that design and might not transfer over to the shorter-maned Yulyhn horse so well. :3
