"Well, I understand your shock with the whole 'time travel' thing and the freaking aliens." Roger said. "But when did you become such a stiff? What changed? I mean, you seem laughably reserved now, like you are a robot in a human suit. Didn't you ever dream of stuff like this after you got out of school? Didn't you ever hope secretly that aliens just might beam you up and have an adventure?"
In the vast universe, the history of humanity is
but a flash of light from a lone star.
The life of a single person should be
lost in space and time.
But among the stars, there is
one light that burns brighter than all others.
The light of Samus Aran.
Her battles extend beyond her life,
and etch themselves into history.
With the death of the planet Phaaze,
Samus Aran's arduous fight
against Phazon has ended.
However, in the vast
regions of space,
this victory is just a twinkle of a star,
spreading the light of hope
through the darkness.

"But back then, somewhere I knew that it didn't exist. That it wasn't true, it was just a make-believe game that we played." Lestrade pointed out. "I don't think you understand how hard it is, when one day, one normal day- that is, as normal as it gets with Sherlock- just turns right around on you and makes you change your basic rules of reality." He sighed and shook his head. "You grew up with these stories. For you, it's always been real, solid. What if you discovered today that actually your grandmother had been telling you lies, that there was no Doctor or TARDIS or anything? How would you feel? What would be going on in your mind?" he asked her, still forcibly calm, trying not to get angry or anything. If he was calm, he could think rationally, he could understand better, but anger just makes everything crazier. He tried not to look at the little girl that had just appeared from nowhere.

"Last year I found out the stories my Great Grandmother told were real." Roger said quitely. "Before then I believed in the Doctor like one believes in Santa after knowing he isn't real. You know, how you want to believe because later you want to make your own kids believe just so you can bring them the same disappointment you experienced. You think I didn't experience shock when I found out that all those quirky stories where about my family? You think it was easy to let her die, to let someone who could live forever die? I saw her glow... And she put herself out like a candle. She raised me after my mom ran off with some guy. And I ..." Roger turned her face away from him. "Knowing that magic really exists and she died any way... How is it better?"

((looool))
/./././././././././././././../..
Sherlock just sat in the corner of the control room, back facing the rest. He was a bit busy freaking out than to look at anyone else. Sherlock's head hurt, and it felt like he was on fire. He swore to himself that all this impossible-ness was frying his 'hardrive'.

Rory looked over to Amelia. "Amy?" He asked softly.
