No... :c The old linearts are my absolutely most favorite linearts. I love how they look, and love getting them, it'd feel so plain without them.

I believe Yulynh did a great job on our new horse linearts, but I really, really just adore the old ones, and I think they should stay where they are as a peace of CS history.

What about users who specifically hunt down Equimagine horses for hoards or simply because they adore the linearts? All that work would be flushed down the toilet.

Thank you! This is a very important point; it is CS history! You would change a picture of, I don't know, Elvis to look like Skrillex, would you? I know, a really really bad example there, but still. I really dislike the idea of it being changed, it's too important to a lot of people.

I don't think I like this idea. I haven't been on CS long, but my favorite pets on CS so far are the equimagine ponies and horses. I would rather them stay the same, but that might be because I don't use horse items. I think it was a good idea, but I have to vote against it because I like the old line art too much. Not saying Yulynh horses aren't good, but I like having the variety.

I think you should change the ponies, leave the PPS, and leave the horses. I'm not sure about my opinion of the drafts yet. And I personally like how the Equimagine line arts look and how they appear to move and look a bit more real. The new line arts look less alive and more like the horses are dead

Have to say I disagree. I do not own any equi horses or ponies because I have always felt that both the lineart and designs looked more simplistic and of lesser quality than the current Yulynh horses and ponies. I do have the Unicorns on my current WL, but only because they are Unicorns.

i honestly just don't see why we're even debating about keeping referenced/traced lines [however you want to put it] or otherwise art theft around. even if it was 'accidental', it's still against the rules here and frowned upon and all that jazz. i'm not putting equimagine down!!! or anything!!!
just saying that this site strongly advertises against any form of 'art theft', whether it be referencing, tracing or straight out theft [eg. taking another drawing and saying you drew it], so i don't see why this should even be reconsidered. 

but just a question, if this idea is turned down, the draft lines, unicorn lines etc. will be used for future adopts, right? because if we don't end up getting those drafts i think i'll cry

I can't wait for this revamp. I do not like Equimagines artwork at all, but some of the coloring designs are nice. I believe this will be a very good step for Chicken Smoothie. Turning over a new leaf, of sorts.
Yes, there are people that don't like change, but I believe this change will be good for both the image of the site and for the trading game. RIght now, I and many others value Equimagine pets very, very little. It's almost a fight to get rid of them, even if they're rares. This unification of line arts could also lead to more Unicorns and Drafts, which is something that I'd be excited about.

I'm looking forward to this change for the sake of trade and aesthetic value.

If its a question of art theft then I think it would be wise to go with the new ylu designs. I do like the old designs dont get me wrong but if it means having the whole site shut down then I think that we should just go with the new desings because frankly I dont want all the pets gone.

The designs don't look right on ylu's. It looks flat and forced. The positions of equi's are in a 3/4 running not side so the designs were meant for 3/4 running. It just doesn't look right

This. I agree that the designs were made for the lines, and putting them on the new lines doesn't (for the ones shown) and won't (for the ones not shown) look right.
(whether or not it's "3/4" who cares, the old horses are running and the designs were made for that. Putting them on standing lines won't look right.)

Well seeing as Yulynh's horses are running as well... And her ponies are standing just like Equi's it's not going to be a huge difference. As well as the fact that a running horse still has the same coat as a standing horse... You don't make a design for a specific movement, you make a design for the pet.

I've spent too much time and pets getting equi's because I love their LA. I don't care if it was "copied" or not. I'm not a fan of Ylu's LA anyway. It seems to flat.

Whether or not you care if it was traced, art infringement is serious, and it's something that can get CS in trouble, or shut down.

Personally, I would love seeing all the designs go to Yulyhn's line art. They're a lot more fleshed out and realistic. As well as the fact that the new draft lines are positively lovely. In long run, the same designs on Equi's horses are going to stay.

Okay, thats your opinion, but idont think you get that they were traced. If anyone of them looks flat
Its the equis, the way they were traced shows no details like the yuls, yulyhns are real drawings, not traced. They
have muscle lines and many other details. Also, how can you bash someones art that was free done but not someones whos were flat out traced

I love the idea I also love the new draft horse. Would there be new designs in that lineart or will they be set aside only for the transformation?

Yes, the poll is the deciding factor. The lines will not be changed unless the majority of members supports it.

MAjority meaning... what? 100-200 vote lead?

I cannot speak for Tess, but I would imagine she is looking for something along the lines of 2/3 of voters choosing yes (in other words, a percentage as opposed to a certain number of votes lead).
