I agree it would be too much work to change them all, then revert back because people don't like it, but I'd love to see some more examples of the updated versions! Didn't the original post say they'd already done about 25 to see how they'd look?

And I agree with J e l l y b e a n's post completely. It applies to me as well: I've been collecting them for a very long time simply because I like them way more than the Yulynh linearts.

Random thought:
What if all the lines were changed just for a short time, like a test? Then we could truly decide if it was in our opinion a change for better or worse, take another vote, and see if anyone's opinion changed? Then we could perhaps be a bit more clear on the decision.

A trial would be nice, but if it was reverted, all the work the artists put into transforming every horse would be lost D:
We should just stick to comparing the examples on the front page.

Hmm... Maybe not all of them, but one from every couple sets. That way we could get a clearer idea of what the rest would look like based on that, and the artists wouldn't have to change everything yet. To me, the few examples that are posted now don't help much; and I haven't seen what the new unicorns would look like yet.

With all these comments on here I would feel diminished as an artist since so many people are trashing both artists lines

All that needs to be said is if you "prefer" one or the other. I don't see the need of going into detail about why you absolutely hate an artists work

I'm for the change, for the most part. But I'm assuming that the zebras will be changed as well, and honestly I don't want that at all. I know that we can't simply pick and choose which pets to change and which not to, but for some reason I feel like the zebras would look/be much better on the original lines.

Separate poll would be incredible. If we do end up changing all of the other lines, I think we might as well develop something new for the zebras! Look how incredible Yulynh's lines for the draft horses are, and they're just from scratch created solely for the purpose of this project. c; Perhaps others would disagree seeing as the zebras are some of the rarest pets onsite. However, if we're going to change everything about the equine lines, why not truly change everything? If what we're going at is uniformity, I think it'd be a great idea. c;

I'm not usually one who embraces change (just ask my family) but I think that unifying the line art would make items much easier for the current artists to create and would also give the site a really cohesive look over all.
The new draft line art is just gorgeous.
