Except it's not just the newborns.

Being honest about something that happened is not the same as dragging a name through the mud. Clearly there is a lot of misinformation floating around that needs to be made perfectly clear before you let new/younger members make a decision like this.

The lines need to be changed. It's not a matter of what the misinformed members of CS want, it's a matter of what is morally and legally right. Art theft is against the rules on CS, and for good reason. I was really excited to see this come up because this has always been a sore spot in the back of my mind as far as CS is concerned. I thought "yes, they're actually addressing this issue! They're doing something about it! This is great!"

But with all the post deletion going on, and the confusion as to why this is even happening, now I'm just disappointed.

Honestly, the adult horse lines don't look traced to me at all. All horses move in the same way, so there's obviously going to be similarities. I'm actually not a fan of hers, and I don't care if her name is trashed, it's obvious the rest are traced, I'm not denying that, the point I was trying to make is that people want the PPS's to say the same, and those are the main problem lines, so how is it that they really care about the theft going on?

Why is there a poll up if it's about what is legally right???

I'll say this again: if Tess had to take them down because of complaints from people who own the photos then she would just do it and I wouldn't have a problem with it.

after reading tess's first post i agree with her and i thing this will help the site out alot and by they way the new draft horse lines are to cute for words

I love the old linearts, I don't really want them changed. They're really cute, and I'd miss the old look. I'd really prefer if they stayed the way they were. I wouldn't be upset if they changed, but it isn't worth it to just put items on them. If you wanted to change it because of that one quote in the first post, I'd be fine with it, since you don't want copyright problems. (Though didn't she edit them?)

A lot of users dislike the current horse linearts, so it's nice to have a blend of linearts. (I don't mind them, but I love the Equimagine linearts. I think I was just a new player when she retired. I loved the look of those horses.) The examples look nice, but wouldn't it just be less work to make the items for them? Though it wouldn't be as fun to do the items…

You have a lot of good points in there. The old linearts are what make the horses..well the horses!

in my opinion, i never really liked the orignal drafts, and Yuls are great, so i would love to see them
But with her putting Equimagine's designs in her lines doesnt bother me. It's just that they were made in Gine's lines and they look better that way. Guess i;m just used to her more than Yul. And i do like Gine's style a little more than Yul's, its more realistic, more horse like.
But im not hating on Yul, i still love her linearts. But for the items to fit better on all the horses/ponies? Thats, in my opinion, to small of an idea. but, i mean, yea it is a little more work to convert all the items for four different line arts, 8 if you count Tess, Malk, and the donkies and unicorns.(unless whoever does the items doesnt do some of them..? i dunno xDD) So then the equine transformation would make it a ton easier.
But lests say we all agreed to go on and have Gine's linearts transformed into Yul's. Why not atleast keep Gine's unis, donkies and other uniques? her zebras too. The zebras were always my favorite equine on this site, i would hate it if they got changed too much. But thats my opinion. But i wouldnt mind either way.

just looked back at the examples. I never liked the new lines Gine made, but to see Yul transform then into hers wouldnt hurt, its just Gine's arabian styled lines i liked the best.

I agree, I don't think this would have been created for us to vote if it was that big of a legal problem. All the equimagine lines would already be yulynhs by now.

Because the only reason to do this is because of the items and because it looks messy? So why don't we change all malks lines to the dogs, I'd be interested to see the designs in tess' lines
... Really I would not.. But it's the same mentality. I do not think this is fair because people are going to vote and they have not been here since the creation of these designs. And as I've said in my other post before this is CS history we are just going to erase, these are my pets that ie collected thy are going to be turned into lines that I will see time and time again in new designs to come, the value (I guess for me) would drop in the old lines. Equimagines lines are set apart from Yulyns because it wa a diffrent time and era of CS and that just going to be abolished. To people complaining about items, you can still use the old items on the old horses, new items on the new horses, I think that's less of a big deal then getting rid of lines that we said we "appreciated" we thanked Equimagine for all her hard work, and she won't even have her mark left on CS. It's the character of CS we will be throwing down the drain. I'm sitting her stairing at the vote count and my heart is just sinking, I'm so upset by this, and I hope that we are not just considering raw vote count. If it comes down to item complaints, get creative, most people who dress up there pets use items from all sorts of categories to put on pets they don't fit... heck I've dressed up my smiley with dog items! And simply put not everyone dresses up their pets anyways. This will be my third post on this thread, I'm just so torn down my this. And again I repeat why can't Yulyn make we drafts with her own designs. I love the designs but not enough to wipe out the old ones.

Personally, I was never really a fan of Equine's lineart. I never really liked the ponies, I think the lineart now is actually better than before. As for her horses, the second adult horse on the front page I just.. don't really care for the position its in and how it looks. sorry if I sound a bit rude, but I don't like it. Sure, her PPS ponies were adorable. But I really don't think that's a reason to vote no on the poll. Just saying ^^
I would love to see the new draft lines. They look so awesome and just cute ^^ :3 The ones before were actually quite good, but I still like the new ones.
It may be a lot of work for the artists, but its better than making sure every item fits every single horse. That would be even more difficult considering there are more items than Equine horses/ponies. Just putting that out there ^^
I also think Equine's designs on the previous horses look fairly better on Yulynh's lineart. Its more clear and looks prettier in my opinion.
