I don't think they should be changed. I believe the pets values will go down if they are changed.

Also I really like the older line-art versions even if they do not fit in my signature.
Sorry for my slow response time on RP's. My new job steals ALL my time. :(

Image is this the kind of line art that the buckskin is going to be turned into?

Same here.. I really overpaid for my buckskin pps, and soon it will off into my trade groups.

It would be. And the Roadkill PPS would become this one. Which wouldn't work out very well.. it doesn't look run over.

But wouldn't they edit it to make it look like the original Roadkill PPS? :B

The only pets I could see decreasing in value are the ones on the rares list; most of the regular ones are so worthless at the moment that their demand can't really go down any further.

It would be like taking the old sitting cats and then poofing them into the new lineart, which again would not be a brilliant decision in my eyes, because it wouldn't show that appreciation to the person/people (I don't know who made the sitting cats, I think Lawliet?) who designed said pets.

I agree with you 100% and actually thought of the Warrior cats as well. Who wants to see Sandstorm or Lionheart in the new cat lineart? It just seems wrong. The old linearts for the horses and ponies are what make them special and unique, and the expressions on the horses give them character. The equimagine 2009 dapple grey pony had been a dreamie of mine for quite a while, mostly because of the adorable pony lines (with the forelock covering the eye). If they make this change, I will seriously be so mad. I know I am one of the few people who don't like the new horse lines, and am I the only one who actually likes the old draft horse lines? Anyway, I think taking away equimagine's lines will be such a loss for everyone. If this change occurs, I will have zero intrest in all my horses and ponies (my favorite animal, mind you) and probably send them all to the Pound or something.

My personal opinion:

While it would be nice to have everything fit, I honestly think it's a bit disrespectful to basically erase all of Equimagine's work. (And don't nag on me for this, it's just my opinion.) Equimagine is part of CS's history, and I would hate to lose that history, that lineage, that part of CS that Equimagine worked so hard (Sometimes thanklessly) to create.

She was the one who made those horses, who made those lines, so I think I'd be sad if we lost that part of her on CS. More than sad. I don't think I would care for the horses as much as I do now. It would be a melancholy day on CS the day they would be switched over.

Please don't let Equimagine's hard work be tossed aside?

I'm completely for it, for almost all of the 'for it' reasons stated by others.
But the thing I'm wondering about, what will be the turning point for a definite 'yes'? It's been stated it's a majority vote ruling, and 'yes' is 200 ahead of 'no'. It really barely bothers me, but I'm merely curious as to when the definite ruling is made.

LOVE the new draft lineart <3 No offense to anyone, but I did not necessarily cared for the old lineart...
I rarely check this website any more. If you need to reach me, please contact me through my Deviant Art. *Note: I am largely uninterested in CS pets/items as art payment, but I have no plans to give away anything on my account/any of my characters.

Yes, as Tess said and as I'm sure has been said many times, although I love particular outcomes on the old lines, I really - really - don't enjoy the old lines in comparison with the new. Plus there will most likely be improvements on the actual designs. ^.^

And that new draft... sdjkfoiwengn... just omg.

There is a good reason that this is happening with the horses and not the cats or any of the other lines.

That reason is at the bottom of the original post. Otherwise this probably would have never come up.
