They are taking our thoughts into consideration. That's why there's a poll up.

Personally, I always disliked the old lines but loved the designs. I didn't like the conflict so I never collected them. The new lines came and I liked them, but almost immediately saw a drop in design quality. So even though horses are some of my favorite animals, I haven't been collecting them at all since I joined two years ago.
From what I can tell, a lot of people felt that way. They put "no equimegine horses" in their trade rules and that sort of thing. If we just switched the lines, *presto*! Two years of horses and ponies that those people can all collect (:

that's exactly how i feel too . c:

Thanks.
And let me add someting else: the new revamped designs are... well... better in my opinion. They're detailed, and really strike me as more attractive on the new lines. They are still equi's design, but with a little revamp. And antways, the designs are now copyrighted to CS, not equi, so they aren't doing anything wrong to change them a little.
    It's good to be back.

edit: same with unicorns! ^^

^ I agree. c:
Some people may just be swaying towards yes because of the new draft, unicorn and donkey linearts, so that would probably be the best option.

I like this idea.

Well, I guess I should throw my two bits into this-
I'm really not a fan of the idea. I was never a fan of horses (on CS or RL), but the older lines are a personal favorite of mine. I'm just not really into the lines now... (sorry! They're just not really my cup of tea) The old lines were so different! I loved all of the variations of them.
I think I'll be most upset about my precious Rainbow Mane. I love how she's positioned, and I've spend months looking for items that would fit her. I just think that with the new lines she'll look too... Normal. To regular! I'm really sad her lineart will be changed, it was so beautiful! Also, I'm wondering if this new lineart change will make her less rare. Just wondering, but will she move down the Rares List due to this new change? Her rarity doesn't really matter to me, as I just love how she looks, but if I ever decide to trade her, will this prove to be an issue? Also, will is raise/lower any of the other horses rarities? Again, I'm just wondering C:
If I were to say one thing I liked about this change, I'd have to say the Drafts. They're so amazing with the new lines! Just look at their wittle tail! *snuggles the new Draft Lines*
Ahem. Anyways! Those were just my two bits. Maybe I'm totally wrong, and I'll love the new changes! But sadly, I just can't see myself liking them. I will say that this is going to take a looooong time, though. I wish all of the artists in charge of coloring the new linearts best of luck! Also, I wish lots of luck and patience to whoever is going to change the Archive. (If it's going to be changed at all.)

I've been thinking about it for a while and I still really don't approve. I'd be totally fine with it if it were optional. I personally love the diversity of having many different linearts, and there are some designs that I know I'm not going to like when they're updated. In fact, one of them was already used as an example. The simplicity of the old designs is what I loved, and it's going to be a real shame to see them updated.
Further, I'm really not a fan of the new pony lines (no offense). They just don't strike my fancy. The old ones are adorable, the way they're kinda chubby and are hiding behind their manes.. I dunno. I just would really like to keep them the way they are. If not, at least make them optional.
Like I (and many others) have suggested before, if there was an option to switch back and forth between the different versions, it would be much better. And maybe, so people don't get confused, we could come up with an acronym for it and stamp it on all the old horses, like the PPSes. Then, just like the PPS pets, it would say "What does this mean on this pet?" and it would lead to a little page that would explain that these pets can change lines, so nobody would get confused. And if they are too lazy to read into what the acronyms mean when trading for the pet thinking it's one they don't already have, then that would be their fault. They were provided with the information and just didn't read it.
I just would much rather have the option to bypass this change if possible. That way, demand wouldn't be all thrown out of wack either.

Completely honestly, I am very against this. The old horse linearts are absolutely beautiful, especially compared to the new ones. No offense to Yulyhn, of course, but I like Equimagine's linearts more. I feel like it would be a bit biast to change the linearts. It would be like forgetting Equimagine entirely. Also, the old linearts help determine the age of the pets. For example, when I'm at the pound, I don't have time to calculate the year of the pet by looking at how old it is in days. (You know, it'll give you how many days old the pet is, but not what year it came from.) When I see an old lineart horse, I now for a fact that it is more valuable, and I adopt it.

I personally think that the old linearts should stay the same, and I am strongly against getting rid of them. The old horses and ponies are masterpieces themselves, and do not need to be changed.

I don't like the new draft lines. :/ I don't really like horses much at all on here, but I like the old ones more. And I love the old ponies, not so much the new ones. IDK. I just don't want them to get changed because I like the variety of the horses. I like that they aren't all the exact same lines. IMO, I think that would be boring. I know the dogs are pretty much all the same, but there are a LOT more edits on them that make them different.

I agree, I like having a little variety between the horses. Plus, it seems that equimagine would sort of die out because all of the names on the horses would be changed to Yulynh. New users who joined after this would have no clue she existed.

This! I totally agree with this!
Vincent Van Gogh. Everyone said to him, "You can't be a great painter, you only have one ear." And you know what he said? "I can't hear you."
