I thought the. Newer horse items fitted both lines anyway...and changing the items will take a lot quicker than 2 years worth of horses. Also why has this been brought up only now? Instead of a lot more work. And really I don't see the point of doing itto be honest.

But even though technically the old lines were art theft, I think that we should keep them. What if someone decided that the Mona Lisa should be different, then painted a frown on her face and painted her hair blonde because now-a-days people think that 'blonde girl are prettier than brunettes?' It's not exactly like that, but those horses are part of Chicken Smoothie's history, and we can't just redo history and act like it was always like it is now, because it wasn't. Those lines show CS's past, even if they are a bit... distasteful... to some users, we can't just pretend it never happened because we're a bit embarrassed or something. I'm sorry, but this is just my opinion, and I can get passionate in a debate, especially when it's about something as big as this.

And now as I'm trying to post this I see Tess's post, so it wasn't really equimagine's fault anyway (at least it wasn't on purpose), it was an accident.

C'mon guys, everyone makes mistakes. We're all human. c:

I completely agree with both of these. I mean, yeah as Electric said we are all human, and we make mistakes. I love Equi's art more, and personally the new ones seem more like they are cartoony.

But it doesn't MATTER if you liek them more if they're STOLEN.
If someone stole your art and used it on a popular website without your permission how would you feel that people were arguing that your permission didn't matter, that the art should bekept anyway because what they did was better than what you did?
It doesn't belong to her so she can't give the rights to CS to use in the first place.
They/Them pronouns only.

I fully agree with this. :) We shouldnt take these lines out of the history of cs.

I like the old art, because they're different I find it fun to hoard them. ;w;
The new draft lines are wonderful, and I hope we could use it without wiping out some other artist's awesome lineart <3

by using the evidence the line art stealing seems to be an accident i think the people who are bringing it up are just using subterfuges so people will change there answer to get rid of equimagine line arts even though it was an accident.

Because that's absolutely not how it works. You can't just CREDIT art, you NEED to get PERMISSION. If they don't want you to use their work, you can't just credit them and take it anyway.

Yes, that's true also, but it wasn't like equimagine did it on purpose; it was an accident. It's like if (for example) when I was 7 I traced a picture, completely forgot about it, then dug it up now and posted it on the Internet and it got popular. It's not like I'd have known about it or done it for my own personal benefit.

One thing I love is how the old horses are different from the new horses. I don't like the new lineart as much as the old lineart (I mean no disrespect, I still like it) and changing the horses I love into the new lineart would be a bit disappointing to me.

On another note I love the new draft lineart.

I've gotta agree with this one!
Ive really always enjoyed the older linearts then the new ones, but just removing them? Im not too keen on it- but I know people have their reasons for liking this new change and people not liking it.
Personally, I would like to keep old CS linearts as they are, so its more like you can see the change on the website? From 2008-2013, you can see the website slowly expanding, Heck, I still remember when the site was colored cucumber green and the pound only consisted of 3 pets! Of course changes are going to happen, like the new themes and such, and of course there is always going to be people complaining either way. But I just think its a good way to show change? Like from older linearts to newer ones. Ive loved the older horse linearts, and would rather keep them. But thats just my opinion on things.

i am so happy to see this. ;A; it would be nice to have the older equine lines match in with yulynh's, and i think the old horses would get a bit more love if they were updated. i do enjoy equimagine's designs though not really her lines. i really hope this happens! <3

I see a lot of people making a fuss about Equimagine's rights to the design.

I wanna point out that Tess already said they'd credit Equimagine and that she'd signed away the rights of her lines to CS.

I don't see why the horses need to be changed.
I think it would be pointless to just change what they look like so that they match up better and so that items will fit.
I personally really like how those horses look different. It makes them more unique, and it's nice to have horses that actually look different. I actually prefer the old design over the new ones.
That's just my opinion though.
I'm trying to completely my Warriors cats collection; if you wanna help me out, send me a trade and we can work something out! c: I'll trade nearly anything for a Warriors I don't have.
