Credit is different. It's good she will get credit but there is still the fact that all her work would be taken down and like they almost never existed... :C

Plus to just take down 2 years worth of art...it's just not right....

Please just re-consider...:c

I love yoj. Seriously. This is just something I can't stand. Why change it now?

I agree why just suddenly change it just coz some items don't fit why not just Change the items.

I'm against this, but I'm just letting those of you who say that it's unfair to equimagine and asking how she feels, equinagine's account was deleted, so she probably doesn't know ( or maybe even care ) about this. The lines weren't even her art anyway.

But even though technically the old lines were art theft, I think that we should keep them. What if someone decided that the Mona Lisa should be different, then painted a frown on her face and painted her hair blonde because now-a-days people think that 'blonde girl are prettier than brunettes?' It's not exactly like that, but those horses are part of Chicken Smoothie's history, and we can't just redo history and act like it was always like it is now, because it wasn't. Those lines show CS's past, even if they are a bit... distasteful... to some users, we can't just pretend it never happened because we're a bit embarrassed or something. I'm sorry, but this is just my opinion, and I can get passionate in a debate, especially when it's about something as big as this.

I do not agree with this.

Equi's lines are a part of our history, I love all her horses and personally her lines are more realistic. I also love the ponies and horses, and I will not be happy with the change. I know I'm just one small person in a big community, but I feel like CS has changed A LOT since I have joined, and some changes I am not happy with.

Not to keen on this. I have almost all of her collection(160 now) and value them for how unique they are and LOVE her lines, even if they were traced. Like the drafts through. A good change. I really hope we can at least, choose to have are's changed or not

Some users say that her lines were traced from photos. equimagine has a longer explanation for how they came about, which in a few words is basically that she referenced for personal use, forgot about it when re-using old personal sketches for CS purposes, and that some connections other users made between photos and her lines were coincidental. Some of her lines closely resemble photographs that she didn't have personal permission to use, which upset many users, and was part of the motivation for retiring her lines in the first place. She maintains that she never intended to use photo-copied linearts for CS and that it was a careless mistake. She did update the lines for a second round but people still mistrusted her and her horses and ponies were not very popular at the time (although apparently have more support these days).

I agree with this. It will make a lot of groups easier to create/keep organized. I love the new draft line art especially ^_^
Though I think we should do what RavenclawHobbit had said; that we need to give credit for the designs.

my reptiles (aka my personal pets)
1.1 Uromastyx geyri, 3.1 Uromastyx ornata, 1.0 Uromastyx acanthinurus nigriventris, 2.0 piebald ball pythons, 1.0 puma ball python

i study lizards & bugs and like animals

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
