Question// Would the change be overnight or take a long time? ~<3 thanks

Probably a while, all of the old horses/ponies would need to be redone. ^^

Perhaps putting some additional credit on the CS tag on the pet? I'm not sure.
It does seem wrong to me, though, to completely erase all that hard work, and give the original artist no credit. It just seems like it would be completely erasing all the effort, and love, they gave to the site.

Then there's the issue that's being brought up time and time again, of the value of the older look. I like the old linearts for their liveliness, but I also like Yulynh's linearts for their own benefits. Personally, I like the new draft lineart, but I don't think that it should replace the old drafts; perhaps an occasional release of drafts again?

Basically, what I'm trying to say is that a if designs are changed over, credit should be given for the person who originally made the design. Or, perhaps only certain designs could be moved over, and then only for special events. But that's just my two cents.

The issue of respect is that they are obviously traced so she hasn't earned that respect. It's not her art.
She deserves no credit since she didn't give credit to the people who's photos she used.
They/Them pronouns only.

I am well in favor of seeing all the equines on lines that aren't copied from photo's found on various corners of the internet. Honestly the old lines seem rather out of date considering all of the wonderful adoptable's that Yulynh and other artists have given us. So, I look forward to seeing all the equines revamped into new lines, especially the unicorns, they will be gorgeous I'm sure.

So true, it totally does not look good on CS at all. Having art theft in an adoptable just isn't right.

Its respectful for the original pictures owners to have these lines taken down.

Well Tess....even if it effects several hundred pets, think about the history. I love CS pets because they are special and unique, especially the older designs. Changing them to all look alike so that the items fit or so they match al the other pets is something I am strongly against.

Plus to just take down 2 years worth of art...it's just not right....

Please just re-consider...:c

I was not aware that she had copied the designs, and I retract my original statement.
Then what of the designs? Shouldn't we credit her for those? Or did she copy those, too?

But for 2 years she gave us designs that we loved. I'd give her credit for that.

Have all the new lines [drafts ect.] been made by Yulynh? (If so well done to her :) They are lovely) I would hate to think new lines had been made and then never used :S

Yes, the draft lines were also by Yul. c:

equimagine will be credited for her designs if they are moved onto the new lineart. She's already signed an artist agreement stating that her designs belong to CS.

Thank you for clearing that up, Tess! I am in almost complete support of this idea now.

I think I'd also prefer if there was a small tag on the new horses, like, "design by Equimagine" or something like that. And maybe a tribute to the old linearts in the archive. That way, we could hold on to this important piece of CS history, and still use these wonderful new linearts, which I feel are a major upgrade! (especially those drafts, <3 <3)
