She laughed and sighed as she dipped her head down in the water for a moment, then throwing it up and shaking her head as she breathed a bit faster.
Her mane dripped of water and she smirked, starting to walk toward Badger from behind.
When she came up to him she stood with her head over his back and smiled.
"Let me give you a big, cosy, soaking weat nudge right there at your cheek" she said and stroke her muzzle and head onto his cheek, making his face and neck all drippled with water.

Badger shook the water from his cheek then looked at Holly. He shook his head some as a smile crossed his face, she was just being like most girls are and he didn't mind. "Thanks hun, I needed that..." He slowly rose from his spot and began to nudge her back into the pond. He then took a step back and chuckled once she was about belly length in water. He trotted out of the pond and once again, shaking the water from his pelt. He tossed his mane over to one side and exhaled deeply.

Velvet sat and thought for a second,
somewhere to take the bored child that Shasta was.

She lifted her head, showing the devilish smirk spread across her face,
"I got it, check this out."
She pinwheeled around, galloping right through the water, letting a flurry of crystally
splashes dance around her knees.

She knew exactly where to go,
It wasn't too long until they reached it,
It was where the long hanging trees ran short, greener, longer grass grew,
and you could actually see the sky.

The field was an awkward place for someone like Velvet to know about.
She had never thought about going into this huge open space,
It wasn't a clearing, much to big for that, and the grass and ground was different.
She had always wanted to go and run through it,
but a strange sense of fear possessed her..

"What'd you think of this?"
She said, looking back at him, her long hair falling all over her face as she panted.

"I have never gone in there, but i guess now i have an excuse to."
She said, looking back out at the huge meadow, looking at the pretty yellow flowers
that dotted the grassy spread

Shasta watched the mare splash into the water as she swam away leading him elsewhere. 'Great I'm getting wet now' he thought to himself before slipping into the water slowly, his head drawn up high. He kicked after her. When they finally stepped out of the water Shasta shook his pelt trying to get it dry as soon as possible. He stepped after into into the meadow. He looked around before lowering his head. He sniffed a delicate flower. Sneaking his head shot back up. He walked closer to her stepping on the horrid little plant. "It's different for sure. How did you come about finding this place?"

She stepped away happily prancing in place, excited to here about the stories. asking in anticipation and following in her brother's questioning footsteps her question darted out too "When?! i cant wait to hear them" she said after her mom had told Crius to wait.

He watched as Kassandra explained her exuse for being gone. *hmph* he let out a sarcastic sigh "What family stuff, aren't these two youngsters your family too" he said seriously his grin faltering. at least she said she'd tried to stay close, and was happy they were all fine. He had missed her though he thought to hold off on that proclimation till he knew where her and his feelings stood, after all she was an attractive mare, yet so was that Mother Soul he had left in the clearing, how rude of him to just run off like that he thought to himself. He still wanted her to introduce him and his family to the herd. Plus what had gotten into him, he had a family and now he was looking at other mares, he had no idea what was wrong with his head now, he didnt want a herd of his own, so why so much interest. Well he was a Flirt for sure, thats where he got his name. His grin returned but turned to smirk as he watched her look at the other kelpies he was with. "I ran into these guys, they were heading to meet the herd, thought i would tag along since i was too, it'd be good to get the kids into a herd where they are properly safe and can interact with young kelpies their age" he said making conversation "i was just talking to Mother Soul over there about it"

"We're all just stories in the end."

Kassandra chuckled to herself at her impatient foals. "Soon enough, Viatrix." She said with a small, forgiving smile, knowing how they must feel. They just couldn't help blurting out their questions. Just as Desiderius' grin dropped a bit as he addressed the fact that they were her family too, her smile slipped back so it was only a faint impression on her lips. "Of course all of you are still my family, but you're not my only family." She replied to his first statement before moving on to why he was with so many other kelpies. "Ah, I see." She began, a bit hesitant to continue. She eyed the kelpie he claimed he'd been talking to, the only true adult out of the bunch besides Desi. She also had grown up a loner, so having her kids in a herd was a strange idea. "I think it's a good idea," she finally continued, then decided to include the kids. "What do you guys think?" Kass asked Crius and Viatrix, her smile returning as she looked over them.

Speak his mind on the subject, that was exactly what Crius was going to do. He thought for a moment. "I think I should stay with you. Your more fun than anyone else and you always have stories to tell me." The colt told his mother and walked over to her side and stood there. He really meant this, if she were to leave again, he wouldn't be watching her he'd be with her the time around.

Kass watched as her colt quickly took her up on her offer of the foals giving their opinions. She smiled at him, his choice meaning the world to her. However, what made her beam might not thrill Desi. "Well, Crius, I think we can arrange that, especially because I'm not planning totally leaving again." She replied carefully to her colt, choosing her words so as to try and make all parties happy. Kass nuzzled her colt then looked to the other two kelpies, eyes expectant.

Badger blinked before he smiled and nuzzled her. "You are just full of energy today aren't you?" he questioned her, letting his forelock fall into his face. She was about to take another step when he spoke. She turned her head and looked at him. Peculiar question. She turned and faced him again. "Well, they were nice and loving you could say. He listened to her carefully, as he was grateful for her staying behind to answer his question. After she finished speaking, he paused slightly to consider her words. He thought about his parents for a moment. He couldn't really say that his father was the... 'typical' father figure. His mother... "My parents were fairly distant," he replied out loud. "They weren't ones for... getting close, shall we say."

Fenrir nodded his head, his eyes looking wizened beyond their years "I know" he said softly, unsure of what to say, he was used to being alone, he did not like it, he thrived in company, but he tried to understand the pain it caused Remus. And then seeing a flare of aggression, pranced backwards, snorted "I come to help not fight" he snorted, narrowing his emerald eyes carefully.

When he earsed the new drawing, he started drawing a detailed drawing of a mare in profile.
She smiled and had a small flower in her mane, and on the other side he wrote "friend" and he looked up, smiling at her again.
Featherheart was the first real friend he had in a while.

She looked down at the latest image Prince had left her. It took her a while, but she soon recognised the flower. The image made her feel joyful. Had she been the one to make him feel happy again? Just by being a friend? She turned her head and looked into his eyes. "Prince... If you ever... need to talk to me..." She paused slightly. "I'll always be there for you," she smiled.
