i guess you could say humans are killing machines too but we'd be nothing without tools tbh
i think was aeiou was saying that they're built to kill, not necessarily that they're 'killing machines' in every other aspect if that makes sense it probably doesn't oh well

and while wolves aren't the most dangerous animal out there, they're still wild animals and should be treated as so. also i honestly don't think wolves have all that bad of a reputation, it seems that almost everyone loves them and there's quite a lot going into wolf conservation. wolves are probably one of the animals with the best reputations and plenty of people willing to lend a hand to save them, even if they don't need it.

well you have to admit, it is true - they are built to kill. no, that's not all there is to them, of course - but they have to kill to survive and have evolved to fit that need. in a way they really are 'killing machines'.

not really. while wolves are generally timid and will avoid humans, they certainly wouldn't have a problem killing anyone if they were hungry enough or felt threatened in any way.
wolves kill out of instinct [of course there are exceptions, such as if they are diseased etc.]. they're wild animals and like i said, killing isn't the only thing to them but of course they don't have a problem killing anything. oftentimes wolves even surplus kill.

wolves certainly don't only ever attack if they're attacked. wolves will attack if they're hungry, diseased, feel threatened in any way, or otherwise. they're wild animals and they have killer instincts, they're not all cuddly and gentle. while of course they're not just killing machines, they're certainly built for the kill. if that made sense i feel like it didn't oh well
