Two new ratties x]
Aristotle and Galileo.
Both white.
Galileo's chillin' in my hoodie.
The upstanding church-going law-abiding tax-paying citizen who votes democrat or republican is far more despicable and a bigger threat to humanity than the most
promiscuous lazy drug-snorting hippie. Why? Because the hippie is willing to let others be free and the voter is not. The damage done to society by bad habits and loose morality is nothing compared to the damage done to society by the self-righteous violence committed in the name of the State.

Oh yay a rat topic! I've been looking for one. c: I'll try to post pictures the second I find my phone...
I have two rats named Salt and Checkers, and yes, I know what you're thinking, "Why not Salt and Pepper?" It's a long story. In a nutshell, my friend had two gerbils named Salt and Pepper and Pepper ended up... eating Salt. I was a bit cautious that if a named small lil' Checkers 'Pepper' that she would eat Salt, but I highly doubt that. Salt is her big sister after all! C:<
Anyways, I'm a bit nervous because I have them on liquid medications. I bought them at a popular pet store, and they started sneezing a lot. I took them into the vet and he said to give them some medicine for about a week just in case it became/was Respiratory Infection. Fourth day I've had them on it, and had them altogether, and they're still sneezing pretty bad. I thought progress would start showing after five days or so, should I be worried? Also, what's the best way to give them the stuff? It's almost impossible to get them to eat it, and when I mix it with there food they try to find the food that doesn't have the medication on it. I was able to give them some with there snacks, but I don't want to give them unhealthy snacks too often. Any ideas other than mixing it with peanut butter or with their regular food?
@LissaJo- Hopefully Luna's children will be perfect and healthy! c:

My ratty seems to have a URI as well, he needs some Doxy x[ I've got a humidifier going in my room, and have been keeping him all hydrated and whatnot. Try baby food, something strong like strawberry or raspberry ^-^

I'll try that soon! At least Salt is showing some progress with the stuff, but Checkers is still sneezing a lot. It might be because she's so small, I really don't know. D:

Hopefully not, or then the pet store would be lying to me. XD
Don't worry, I asked the pet store a survey of questions about what I would need. I got the bedding that they recommended for rats, so hopefully it's not that. Maybe I need to dust, hmm.
