Lightningstripe purred at Leopardpaw's offer, her eyes gleaming with amused affection. "I'll be fine, don't worry," she assured the young she-cat, her tail tip flicking. "I've been hungrier than this. At that moment, Lightstar's call sounded through camp and the ginger she-cat turned to face the leader, giving the soft white fur on her chest a last lick to smooth it down. She was silent as she listened, planning out her day in her mind with a small nod: training, then border patrol. When LIghtstar finished speaking, she trotted to the apprentices den and stuck her head inside, her emerald eyes blinking in the sudden dim light. "Cloverpaw? We have training, so you should hurry if you want a bite before we leave," she meowed patiently as she crouched in the entrance.

Eaglewing's snorted dismissively. "Don't worry, Kestrelclaw, you won't be the only one messing up!" he said brightly. "Have you seen me hunt? Or should I say heard me? I'm so loud that the prey hears me coming half the time!" His whiskers twitched as he recalled his former mentor's despairing expressions as he tried to instill the qualities of a good hunter in Eaglewing. His eyes shifted to Bearfur and he nodded at the warrior's words. "Yeah, I thought I saw Wolfstride earlier, actually. Maybe he went to make dirt or he left before the patrols were announced." He shifted impatiently, his eyes scanning the clearing. "If he doesn't arrive in a while maybe we should leave. You know how he is, maybe he went off to hunt alone."

Bearfur - Tom -

"Or we should just leave now." The tom grumbled crossly. He was sick of wait, and sitting around in camp instead of hunting wasnt making his mood improve. Bearfur got to his paws and looked around the clearing, his eyes narrowed to slits as he looked for the other tom.

Lightstar - She-cat - Leader - With Blizzardpaw

The she-cat flicked her light ginger tail, smiling at her Apprentice. "I was thinking about doing a little bit of battle training today." Lightstar looked towards where the training clearing was, her icy blue eyes sparkling.

BlizzardPaw's ears perked up. Battle training?! Yes! He loved the challenge they gave him! He grinned and nodded up and down. "Yes!" He mewed, his tail tip flicking as he bounced on his paws. "What battle moves are we learning today?!"

[Spirit Lion]

"I was more thinking we would go over what you already know." Lightstar meowed somewhat slowly, starting off towards the clearing. Her cream and light ginger fur was slightly ruffed as a small breeze made its way through the territory.

BliazzrdPaw lifted his tail. He couldn't wait to show his mentor on his progress. He had adjusted the moves in order for them to work for him, but he changed the slightly. He wanted his mentor's opinion on them though. A flash of nervousness crossed his mind. What if he hadn't done them correctly? He pushed the thought away.

[Spirit Lion]

Lightstar padded into the open clearing, sunlight warming the soft grass that hung around the edge and around the middle. "Have you been practicing when I've been busy Blizzardpaw?" The cream and light ginger she-cat looked at her Apprentice with a kind smile.

BliazzrdPaw nodded, his stumpy tail tip twitching. "Yeah. I've tried to adjust them a bit, you I can you then because....Y'know," BlizzardPaw shrugged. He didn't like talking about his sight issues. In fact, it was a really touchy subject to him. He snapped when cats approached him with questions about his eye.
