"A dog..killed my daughter," chako managed to choke out the words. Her fur was dull, and so were her once bright eyes.


(Maybe she needs a mate *hint hint*)

"Y-Your daughter? Fuji? Where is she?" Yuki asked quietly, looking around. "And what happened to that human I saw helping you?"

"Killed. Fuji is right here," Chako sighed, leading her to the mauled body of her adopted daughter.

Yuki carefully pulled Fuji's body out of the bush and looked at her in horror. "What?..Who would do this to a kid?" She whined, looking at the pup's horrible injuries.

"The rogues." Chako moaned and walked towards the shadow pack, gently picking up Fuji.

Blood was still pouring out of Fuji's neck wound, it would make anyone feel sick by how much was coming out...It wasn't fair, she didn't do anything, the dog just attacked her for no reason...

Chako collapsed in the camp, tired and weak. Rai ran out when he heard her fall. He heard her screams of sorrow. He had no idea what happened to the akita he once knew. Chako opened her eyes a slit to stare at the german shepherd. "I-I'm sorry for your loss," he said gently, not wanting to hurt her further than she was already. "Thank...you," Chako whispered, voice heavy with sadness.

Apollo watched hidden from the tree tops. He had left his pack to become a loner. He licked his lips and bunched up his muscles. He leaped out of the tree and landed on Chako "I told you I'd be back!" he snarled trying to plunge his teeth into her neck.

Rai snarled and knocked him out of the way. "Don't you dare," he snarled. Chako tried to get up and fell back. The battle from yesterday had exhausted her. Rai bit down on Apollo's neck. He snarled through the wound, "Leave here. Or die where you stand." Chako leaped to her feet, remembering what he had done to Fuji before her untimely death. She grabbed Apollo's leg and started pressing down hard. She heard a resounding crack as the bone broke.

Suddenly, the dirt on Ink's grave moved, as if something was trying to climb out. A small black and red figure slowly stood up, bringing the dirt up with it. It couldn't be Ink...Could it? The thing was obviously a pup, trying to get out of the deep hole. It was him! Ink managed to weakly clamber out of the hole and shake himself, sending drops of blood that were still in his fur flying. He didn't see Apollo fighting Rai and Chako, his eyes were locked on Yara.

Ink limped towards Yara's dead body and touched his little nose to Yara's chest, closing his eyes. There was a sudden white glow between the two and all the blood on Yara's body vanished. Ink fell to his knees and started to pant hard, weakness taking over his little body as he looked at Yara...Hopefully, this would bring him back...The pup had given most of his life to Yara, seeming as he wasn't fully alive because he had only just got back here. Please...Please work... He pleaded in his head, desperately wanting to see Yara back on his paws again. Ink then collapsed on his side, still looking at Yara. He felt cold now as if he was dying again, but he wouldn't go until he could see his best friend again.
